About Me: (Ministry Info, Hobbies, Fav. Music etc.): Jason S. McSwain is a native of Laurel, MS, but currently resides in Augusta, GA since 2009. Some sixteen years ago, Pastor McSwain recognized and accepted his call to preach and teach the Word of God. As a minister of the gospel, he has dedicated himself to the faithful exposition of the Holy Scriptures.

Before launching "The Harvest Church in December of 2013, Pastor McSwain served as the Senior Pastor of the Historic Silver Bluff Baptist Church in Beech Island, SC. In February 2011, he led this historical congregation, the "Oldest Black Baptist Church in North America”, to new heights. During his tenure at Silver Bluff Baptist Church, Pastor McSwain transitioned the traditional congregation to a progressive place of worship. He cultivated a style that was Bible-based and Holy Spirit-guided yet retained the essential historical elements of Baptist polity and beliefs.

Pastor McSwain studied the Theology of Pastoral Counseling at the Southeastern Baptist College in Laurel, MS and Gulf Coast Bible Institute in Hattiesburg, MS and is currently seeking to further his education in Business Administration.

Pastor McSwain is a fourth generation minister who also serves as a Baptist pastor; he has served as a Senior Pastor for the last 10 years. He is firmly devoted to ministry and seeks to model a commitment to the kingdom first. Pastor McSwain has a strong passion for leadership development and personal discipleship. He also has a great desire to empower people to both live as God intends and to serve God to their highest capacity. Pastor McSwain seeks to accomplish this through meaningful worship, clear teaching, and providing consistent and loving pastoral care.
