Bishop J. Myles Riley, Presiding Prelate and Chief Apostle of Bridging The GAPS Ministries Ministries of Northeast Louisiana Jos Plateau State, Nigeria and South Africa.

He was appointed as Senior Pastor of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Bastrop, Louisiana in 1998. Under his leadership the ministry grew exponentially. Membership grew by nearly 100% with a major renovation project being completed that beautified the sanctuary both inside and out.

In 2005, he was appointed as Senior Pastor of Hope United Methodist Church where major Christian events in the area often took place.

In 2001, the Holy Spirit led Rev. Riley to start work on “Bridging the Gaps Ministries.” The ministry’s focus is to bridge the gaps in all areas of our lives.

Our Mission is to “Bridge The Gaps” between the Body of Christ and Jesus Christ. We are committed to making, teaching and sending disciples for Jesus Christ to the world by being a loving expression of His love and truth.
We are fulfilling this calling by:

Being an "open-door" ministry without walls that welcome all people in Jesus' name, because God loves everyone and so do we!

Responding to all hurting people and those in need by sharing what God has given us and helping them to learn more about Jesus’ love.

Supporting and helping families as we all endeavor to raise our children in the fear and admonition of the Lord in an unfriendly world
