Pastor, Preacher,Teacher, Singer,Musician....Kelvin Bernard Johnson, was born Aug.1st 1963
He grew up in Memphis, Tn. under very humble beginnings. He is the oldest of 12 children. Pastor Johnson accredits his parents ( Pastor O.B. Marshall and
Ms. Shirley Howard) with a lot of his success.
Although they would divorce during his early childhood, he attributes the values that were instilled in him to both of them.
At the age of 12, Pastor Johnson moved to Chicago, to live with his Father, who had become an Ordained Minister, and a Pastor of a local Church
under the ministry of his father, he became the church musician learning to play the drums, and organ.
At age 15, through his Father, he met the late Pastor Aquilla Sprouls (All Nation Pentecostal House of Prayer) where he began playing the Organ for Her church.
It was under her ministry that he developed a hunger and thirst for God's Word.......He became an active member of the Youth Ministry of the church, he was also appointed as the men Sunday school teacher.
In 1986 Kelvin Johnson, responded to the Greatest Call of His Life...The Call of God..... to go ye therefore, into all the world and Preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Since that time in his life, he has continued to seek the knowledge and the wisdom of God. He has been a part time student of Moody's Bible Institute since 1992, where he has studied various Biblical Educational training classes..... He has involved himself in youth outreach ministries such as The Warrior's for Christ, and other outreach Ministry efforts in the city of Chicago
In 1998 Reverend Johnson, was appointed by God, to Pastor the Revelation Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago, were he continues to serve faithfully to this present time. He is devoted to his ministry, his congregation, his community, as well as his family who is a great part of his life.
Pastor Johnson is a Family man happily married to Gwendolyn, for 16 years and the father of 4 beautiful children
