Hi Kristi God bless, I used to be a member of Beulah Misionary Baptist, I was so sorry to hear abut Mrs Black's passing. I have to get the final word from my pastor, but I am inerested in puting together a show
I take great delight in your interest in the mind of Christ. My heart grieves at the limited ears and hearts even amongst the ranks of "Christendom", who give priority to him.
I'd love to share thoughts at some point on the topic you will be studying. Grace and peace through Christ to you!
Yes, Greater St. Paul is the church! Rev. George Smith is the pastor! Smith is the former president of the Consolidated Missionary State Conv. I was Pres. of the minister's division!
That's great to know. I'll pass the word on! I actually never met Pastor Black personally. Very close to it, but never have. When I pastored in Arkansas he preached a revival in Camden (30 miles from where I was pastoring). I was also in revival in Camden, so I couldn't make it. The pastor invited me to have lunch with them one day, I had a funeral and couldn't attend.
He used to preach annually at Mt. Canaan in S'port, I 've heard him, but I never did anymore than shake his hand and move on.
I'd heard about his wife. I'm glad to know that he's doing well!
Likewise, God's grace has accompanied my every footstep. I have pastored in Birmingham for 8 years now and those years have known volumes of spiritual blessings imported and exported to and through me.
I will pass the word on to Roger of how well you are doing! Feel free to visit me. 23rd Street Baptist Church South, downtown Birmingham!
Thanks for your remarks to my blog. Roger Williams says hello! I see you're "down the street" from me in Atlanta. We'd (Roger and I) would like an update on God's dealings in your life! How did he get you in Atlanta! How is Pastor Black?
That's good. Can you hook me up with the leader of that ministry? I am just reaching out and making myself available to minister at any Deaf Awareness Day event they may have.
