Reverend Lonnie E. Anderson, Jr. (B.A. Selma University, M.A. Selma University, and M.Div. Grace Theological Seminary) serves as Senior Pastor of Mt. Pisgah Missionary Baptist Church in Kokomo, Indiana. Under his leadership, Mt. Pisgah has shifted its focus from simple evangelism to a systematic plan of integrating new members into the life of the church body. As a result, he has been a featured speaker on the topic of membership assimilation at numerous conferences around the country. Rev. Anderson is currently composing the workbook for Partnering with Pastors & Church Leaders: Closing the Back Door, and also creating a manual for the Soles to Souls Community Door-to-Door Evangelism Program. Furthermore, Rev. Anderson teaches The Exploring the Bible Course at Grace Theological Seminary. He presently serves on the Executive Board of The State Convention of Baptist in Indiana (Southern Baptist Convention). He is also preparing to pursue his D.Min. in Black Church Leadership from Southern Theological Seminary. Rev. Anderson resides in Kokomo with his wife, Patricia.
