About Me: (Ministry Info, Hobbies, Fav. Music etc.): Rev. Levell R. Yates is an anointed preacher, teacher, writer, mentor, community leader and gifted musician. He received his call to the Gospel preaching ministry in May 2000. The late Rev. Dr. Chester Riggins of the St. Rest MBC licensed him. When Pastor Riggins became ill, on September 22, 2002, he was Ordained by the Rev Dr. Daniel Kariuki of West Fresno Baptist Church.

A native of Fresno, Rev. Yates received a Master of Arts Degree in Ministry from Southwest Seminary. Rev. Yates has served, as an Associate Minister at St. Rest MBC and Westside COG (served as Dean of School of Prophets), Pastor of Administration/Ministries at Mt. Olive MBC where he directed and coordinated church ministries emphasizing bonding, equipping, and spiritual transformation under the leadership of Sr. Pastor Edward B. Lee, Jr. In addition, in July '02 he founded Joshua Generation Ministries.

Currently, serving as Pastor of Administration at his home church Saint Rest Baptist Church (The Rest) . Rev. Yates is a member of the West Fresno Ministerial Alliance and currently serve as Advisory Director to the Executive Board. Rev. Yates has also served as General Secretary, and Asst. Financial Secretary, and Student Advisory Board Member - Southwest Seminary.
