About Me: (Ministry Info, Hobbies, Fav. Music etc.)
Lisa McClendon has always found freedom in her ability to be transparent, letting others know they are not alone. Whether it’s through her soulful music or through her extraordinary stories of victim turned victor, she uniquely reminds others that they can overcome and join the company of the victorious.
As an International Recording Artist, Lisa McClendon, is no stranger to the music world. She arrived on the music scene in 2002, with her debut release, My Diary, Your Life. Her debut resounded through the Music Industry, making her a household name. Her unique fusion of Jazz, Soul and Funk birthed a sensibility to her sound that has drawn comparisons to the likes of Lauryn Hill, Jill Scott and India Aire.
Now, this Stellar and Dove Award Nominee is blazing the scene and enlightening the hearts of women everywhere with her music and stories of pain, hope and restoration. “There are a lot of things I have had to own today for mistakes made yesterday. I share these stories with the goal of saving someone else the heartache of regrets. Your experience is not always the best teacher; sometimes someone else’s experience is,” McClendon says. These remarkable experiences that Lisa eloquently shares have brought change into the lives of women of every age, race, and culture, in the United States and abroad.
With an encompassing mission to help girls overcome the challenges of life by the word of her testimony, Lisa McClendon has mastered the ability to captivate her audience through the marriage of her music and her message. Using visual presentation, and relevant yet humorous stories, Lisa delves into topics like molestation, rejection, premarital sex and low self- esteem. Lisa shines the spotlight on these sensitive yet discussion worthy topics with the intent to illuminate the path to truth, dispel the lies, and set girls free!
Lisa McClendon is also the founder of The S.I.I.N.G. Foundation (Saving Individuals In Need through Giving). This organization is designed to teach ordinary people that their little giving could mean a lot. It also reminds the community that it doesn’t takes celebrities to save our neighborhood but sometimes the true heroes those are right next door. The S.I.I.N.G. Foundation has assisted other local businesses with feeding the homeless and less fortunate as well as raising money for My Sister’s Keeper, a Nashville based organization founded by Gospel Artist sensation, Cece Winans. Lisa has also served as a big sister for the My Sister’s Keeper organization.
Lisa serves alongside her husband, Pastor Maurice Brailsford, at The LIFE Center, a family church birthed in the heart of Charlotte, NC, where she was recently also ordained a Pastor. She is also the proud mother of 10 children. Lisa and husband, Maurice have been raising a strong blended family since their union.

Hear No Evil The Psalmist teaches us, in the very first verse of the Book of Psalms, “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.” – Psalms 1:1 NKJV. Therefore, do not listen to ungodly counsel, or in other words, hear no evil.

Speak No Evil The Apostle Paul admonished the saints in Ephesus to speak purely: “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.” – Ephesians 4:29 KJV

See No Evil Jesus Himself, when it comes to “seeing no evil”, teaches us to go to extremes to keep our eyes from causing us to sin: “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” – Matthew 5:29 NKJV
