- Min. Robert Blumenberg was born Dec. 12, 1989 to Sis Saundra & Robert Blumenberg. He began singing at the early age of 6 in the Pearl Faith Center COGIC childrens choir as well as there mass choir being actually one of there soloist.
As time went on he began to develop a relationship with God and God began to elevate him in ministry. At the age of 16 God touched the hearts of his leaders and they promoted him to Minister of Music of the Word of Faith Christian Center Choir. He excemplified what a director should be like. He was also a leader of the praise and worship team and he led praise and worship with conviction and an anointing.
As time progress there was still a work God wanted him to fullfill. At the age of 17, July of 2007 God gave Min. Rob a plan to began one of the most anointed youth choirs to step on the scene for such a time as this. Youth in Christ Ministries was started under the leadership of Min. Rob.. First beginning with 8 members and within a year has increased them in numbers to well over 30 choir members, and God is still increasing.
Min. Rob's vision for his ministry, is for the ministry to minister out of the pure anointing of God. So that yokes and chains maybe eternally broken.. Many churches across Chicagoland know them for there quote "HOLINESS IS RIGHT"... He has set a mandate for his ministry to live by. So that they maybe an example to ALL young people across this nation. He has now launced to additional ministries within Youth in Christ Ministries. Youth in Christ Ministries is now home to a praise dance ministy and mime ministry, so that all young people will be able to express there loove for God in all areas of life.
Min. Rob keeps a busy schedule, he is a full time student as well as a Business Administrator for Larry's Barber College for both locations, as well as running his own ministry, as well as being one of the youth praise team leader and being apart of the St. James Radio Choir, also being one of the directors, at his home church ST. JAMES MINISTRIES COGIC, where the pastor is PASTOR WILLIE. J. CAMPBELL. He also is an Asst. Director for The Gospel Music Foundation of America. He has also worked with other church choirs at there pastor's request.
He has accomplished alot in his 19 years of living, he as well as Y.I.C. (Youth in Christ) as done background vocals for traditional Gospel atrist Niecy Hampton, he has also done background vocals for traditional gospel artist Shirley Bell, he has also shared the stage with Jonathan Nelson, James Hall, Lillian Lloyd, Lemmie Battles, Darlene Allen-Nichols, & Dorinda Clark Cole. God his moving by his spirit in his life. Dec.11, 2009 Join them for "Holiness is Right 2009" One evening with Min.
