How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel and bring glad tidings of good news! My fellow laborers in the gospel of Christ, we are living in the last days, and they are evil ones. It is critical that we move with urgency, that we compel all that have an ear towards the sound from heaven, “TO GET RIGHT AND PREPARE FOR HOME”.
Through the tragedy that has befallen households worldwide, including the home of Pastor Gloria, (SON LOST THROUGH VIOLENCE) God is calling for us to “To Get Right and Prepare for Home”. By whatever, and through whatever means, we that are called by His name, are to sound the alarm, cry loud, spare not, and warm the people of the danger of not being prepared for the eternal destination, for this is not our home! If God has put this kingdom message in your spirit, partner with me as we prepare a generation and not fixate on a congregation, so that they can be ready to go home, FOR REAL!!!
Pastor Gloria was licensed in 1995, and ordained as the first female minister in 1998 by her Pastor, Rev. Asher Harris at Great Band MB. Church, Gary, IN. In 1996, Rev. Eldridge stepped out on the ministry vision that God gave her and Sister Sister “Total Body Ministry” was birthed out, and from this ministry a yearly week long “Keeping The Fire Burning” conference is held. In 2008 Bread of Heaven Kingdom Ministries came forth, where the vision is to build the kingdom, “one meal at a time, through lot’s of love all the time”.

MADE TO STAND
On August 18, 2009 my son, Lewis Eldridge Jr., (Two Ton) age 32 was shot down by what is known in this world as a drive by shooting. Needless to say that what the enemy meant for evil through this tragedy has led me and my family to “STAND” and believe even the more so, in the ever loving, tender mercies and faithfulness of God, for it is in our weakness that He is made strong. (Eph. 6:14)
MADE TO SHOUT
This is my walk through the “Valley of Baca”, and God has prepared a “SHOUT” in my spirit man, that I may “raise my voice like a trumpet, cry loud and spare not”, a voice that will "break in like a fire and like a hammer" (Jer. 23:29) After watching my son "die to soon" my call has now been upgraded to go the “extra mile” beyond the pew view, “after a "generation and not a congregation", the “SHOUT” will not fall on deaf ears, as it has been prepared by God, to stir people not just to only "give" but to “live” in such a way that God gets the glory for every story, for only what we do for Christ will last. (Isa. 58:1)
MADE TO PREACH
I was told earlier by a friend that I was to preach my son's eulogy, but because of what I saw happen the thought was that I might not be able to relay God’s "Kingdom Message" which must be articulated at all times, because of my inner pain. I was later told by someone attending my son’s services that I had indeed preached his funeral (“for we are living epistels read of men“), when I closed the top of the casket lid, tucked him in and told him to get his rest, for all our changes would come some day, and it is a "change that I believe in". How beautiful are the feet of them that “PREACH” the Gospel and bring glad tidings of things to come! (Rom. 10:14-15)
MADE TO TEACH
There is a time and season for everything under the sun, and only God knows the real plans that He has for us, for we are the sheep of His pastures, so, “TEACH” us to number our days so we will apply our hearts unto wisdom. I am committed to go with His flow for I am His "Servant Glo" and His “GLOW” is intended to light up the hearts of men so our Father who is in heaven may be glorified. (Matt. 28:20)
MADE TO REACH
As I closed the lid of the casket, our Father will open up the eyelids, unstop deaf ears, make the dumb to talk, and the lame to leap for joy in their hearts and not in a hearse. He has opened up the flood gates of heaven and His message for me is Loud and it is Clear, STAND, SHOUT, PREACH, TEACH, AND REACH, for “I came that you might have life, and life more abundant“. (Isa. 47:7, 61:1)

“Is your Holy Ghost that fragile”?
-Benjamin T. Moore, Jr.
My father asked the aforementioned question years ago and I have never forgotten it. To be perfectly honest, I can not remember the conversation that preceded such a question, but nonetheless it stuck with me. Earlier this month I ministered a word entitled “Kingdom Eyes”. I was dealing with your perspective on life, ministry, relationships etc. I also noted that one of the most pervasive things that influence our perspectives is how familiar we are with a person, place or even a relationship. Mark 6:1-5 lets us see even how Jesus had critics simply because they knew him and his family…and it prompted him to say…”A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.” In other words, and we’ve all heard it, at least most of us…”all he/she ain’t got nothing to say, I changed his/her diapers” or “I remember when you…” or “how you gonna tell me something when you just a …” and the scripture said they were offended…Why?? It was their familiar perspective of Jesus, he was just the carpenter’s son…the text goes on to say He healed only a few sick folk and marveled at their unbelief…
The unfortunate thing is however, in some of our churches, there are myriads of people who have this same perspective of God, not the pastor (who is often reduced to just being a man/woman), not the choir that hasn’t learned a new song in 3 months, not the same ushers who are kind of rude, but there exists this familiarity with God as though we have Him in our back pocket…I agree, we should strive to be a friend of God, I agree, He’s a friend that sticks closer then any brother, I agree, He’s our personal savior, I agree we should come boldly to His throne to find help in time of need, I agree, He is touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but I hasten to assure you that He also sits in judgment and righteousness (Jer. 9:24, Psa. 99:4), I assure you that He is a terrible(to be revered) God (Psa. 47:2), I assure you He is a jealous God (Ex. 34:14) and some how I submit to you that we have forgotten that God is God. Consequently, we’ve “canned” Him into our denominational filters, we’ve “canned” Him into our experience filters, we’ve “canned” Him into our own understanding filters and I believe that God in this season wants more out of His Kingdom citizenry then just our sealing Him in a can and labeling the can that we go pick up from the church aisle every Sunday at the Grocery Store of life. He wants out of our “cans”!
I was recently on the phone with a relative and we were discussing churches that I’ve recently visited. This relative (well intentioned) started to criticize me for visiting a church that didn’t have the same doctrinal beliefs that I was personally raised under…I couldn’t help but hear my father’s question ringing in my ear…I’ve been walking with the Lord 70% of my life, 19 years (to God be the glory) and I somehow can’t believe that visiting a church different from my “religious” background would somehow undo the 19 years of having the Spirit of God in me. Please understand, I’ve made my lion share of mistakes, nor have a reached the apex and pinnacle of God, but again…is my Holy Ghost
that fragile??? I began to realize that to some of us, who have God in our “cans”, anything that doesn’t act like, smell like, sound like the God in our “can” we simply dismiss…I told the saints at our bible study the other night, GOD DOESN’T MAKE SENSE, putting mud on a blind man’s eyes doesn’t make sense, walking around a wall 7+ times to make it fall doesn’t make sense, people being healed by shadows doesn’t make sense, singing songs to unlock chains doesn’t make sense, raining down food daily doesn’t make sense, stretching out a piece of wood to manipulate water doesn’t make sense…But somehow our sovereign King very successfully does what He wants to do, when He wants to do it, how He wants to do it, with whom He wants to do it, without asking our permission…
Just this past Sunday I sat down with a fellow pastor who pastors a non-denominational assembly and he told me about his training etc…He went on to mention a well known college in my city and how he was so turned off by the spirit and demeanor of the administrator(s) that he decided to leave and not attend that school…how often do we misrepresent God to others because they don’t fit the mold and size of the “can” that we’ve squeezed God into?
Our King said, “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, [and] one shepherd.” John 10:16…verse 19 lets us know that these words caused divisions…They thought they had Him “pegged” and they didn’t…He was talking to the Jews (religious folk), they even accused Him of being a devil…read the text…
Saints and friends, our King is bigger then your or my “cans”. The Holy Ghost (Spirit of the King) in you isn’t fragile. He desires to stretch your wineskin; He desires to have new experiences with you. He desires intimacy…There must be a rekindling of our passion for God, not a church service, not a good preacher, not an anointed song or dance, but we must thirst after the true and living God, raw God. Sad to say our “cans” have killed, wounded, blinded and deceived many, but Jesus said it so perfectly, My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: John 10:27.
Don’t get too familiar with God that when He wants to move in your life, you have him sealed up tightly in your “labeled can”. Get re-acquainted with the King that can not fit into your “can”.
