Pastor Shannon Wright’s platform involves a detailed plan that focuses on the areas of the community that needs the most attention: Healthcare, Education and Economic Development. “Times are hard. People are losing their jobs, people are losing their homes, and people are losing their faith. Good government listens to the heart of the people and works for the common good. We have a lot of issues to fix but together we can put the bloom back in the Garden State,” says Pastor Shannon Wright.
Raised in New Jersey since the age of five, Pastor Shannon Wright is committed to rebuilding and uplifting the state of New Jersey. Pastor Shannon Wright has served as co-host of WKMB 1070AM’s “Know Your Community” radio show with former Union County Mayor Rev. Richard L. Taylor, Youth Guidance Commissioner for the City of Plainfield, NJ and NAACP NJ State Conference Youth and College Advisor. Alongside her husband, Michael Wright, Pastor Wright formed Signature Solutions, a consulting firm that represents clients such as The American Diabetes Association, The American Heart Association, The Black United Fund of NJ and most recently she was the campaign manager of Franklin Mayor, Brian D. Levine. Pastor Shannon Wright and her husband also founded the Faith, Grace and Mercy World Outreach Ministries and developed a charter school curriculum for leadership and social change that is in position to roll out in several urban centers starting January 2010. Pastor Shannon Wright attended Virginia State University and NYU for degrees in business communication and economics as well as several professional certifications.
