- Pastor Cameron D. Jenkins, born in Jacksonville, Florida on July 7, 1996 to Tamara M. Jenkins and Phillip J. Burrow, is the elder of two children. At a young age, he, his mother, and his little sister, Ariel, relocated to Birmingham, Alabama, where they currently reside.
Rev. Jenkins received the Holy Ghost at the age of five. He has been preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ since the tender age of nine years old. At age thirteen Rev. Jenkins was a licensed messenger of the Gospel. Recently, Rev. Jenkins was called to serve as the second senior pastor of the Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church of North Pratt.
Affectionately called “The young preacher with the old soul”, his ministry has changed lives, saved souls, and redirected paths. Many people have been inspired by Rev. Jenkins because of his faithfulness and dedication to mission work. Rev. Jenkins feeds the homeless, spends valuable time with the elderly, visits and prays for the sick and shut-in, and also intercedes for both the strong, and the weary, through the prayer line. Rev. Jenkins is often described as an Effective, Energetic Preacher & Teacher, Ernest Worshiper, and Passionate Person.
Pastor Jenkins is a proud alumnus of Alabama State University where he graduated with honors & has served as the Teacher of two weekly bible studies, the Vice President of Martin Luther King Jr. Residence Hall, a Golden Ambassador, Member of the National Leadership and Success Society, a Lifetime member and Chaplain of Nu Alpha Nu Service Fraternity Inc. as well as member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. Beta Upsilon Chapter. Pastor Jenkins has recently been honored by Alabama State University and the City of Birmingham, Alabama for his diligence & integrity in ministry, scholarly endeavors, youth empowerment, and community involvement. Pastor Jenkins is currently a graduate student at the Morehouse School Of Religion, where he is slated to obtain the Master of Divinity Degree. He is proud to say that he is encouraging the youth to “Strive for the top because the bottom is much too crowded.”

Only because of God’s grace and mercy have I been born again, and I can truly stand here today and say, over and over again, that it is in my heart, my mind, and my soul to serve the Lord. Now, I may be young but I know for a fact that serving the Lord will certainly pay off… not after while…but right now…”
