- His Early Years
Reverend Charles Zell Daniels Jr. was born October 17, 1968, in San Pablo California, to Deacon Charles Zell Daniels Sr. and Sister Lydia M. Chaney. He accepted Christ in his life at the early age of 7 years old, while living with his mother in Richmond, California. Their family united with Saint John’s Catholic Church in El Cerrito, California. He received his childhood education through the Richmond School District; attending Martin Luther King Elementary School, Portola Junior High School, El Cerrito High School and Samuel L. Gompers where he received his General Education Development Diploma. Reverend Daniels is married to Sister Tonya Sellers-Daniels a faithful member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church of 34 years. After visiting Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church on several occasions the Lord spoke to Charles and said, “It is time to reunite with me,” and he has been a member since September 12, 2002, under the leadership of Bishop Frank Pinkard Jr.
His Service
Charles was very hungry for the Word and what God had in place for him; he was selected to serve on the Deacon Board along side his father Deacon Charles Z. Daniels Sr. He has held various positions in the Body of Christ, such as President of the Building Fund, Vice President of the Brotherhood Ministry, President and Founder of the CARE Youth Program, and is currently President of the Mens Ministry, and is the first personal Armor Bearer to Bishop Frank Pinkard Jr. Working as a Building Engineer for the Ritz Carlton Hotel and starting his own music management company Darkcity Entertainment.
His Calling
The Lord spoke again and said, “There is much work for you to do in My Vineyard” and he accepted his calling into the Ministry on June 3, 2006. Rev. Charles Z. Daniels Jr is a, Licensed Associate Minister’s he is currently serving at Liberty hill Missionary Baptist church under the define teaching of Dr. Marvis A. Peoples. He attended Pacific School of Religion in Berkeley, California (2 years) where he has completed the Certificate of Ministries Studies Program (CMS)/equivalent to an Associates of Arts Degree and his Bachelors of Biblical Studies Degree from Sacramento Bible College in Sacramento, California. He is know pursuing his Master degree.
