Both the Bible and Quran says that only God has power over life and death. God who created Adam and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life has power to give life and has power to take away life.

And we read in the Bible that Jesus has power over Life and Death.

Jesus said in John 5:21, "For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will."

Also we read in John 10:14-17, "I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own.

"As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep.

"And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd. "Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again. "No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This command I have received from My Father."

And again Jesus said, "I am the bread of life.

"Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.

"This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.

"I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world."

(John 6:48-51)

Jesus has not only power over life and death but He is life – eternal, life Himself. If we want to live forever, we need to take Jesus in our lives. Without Him we are dead and there is no life in us. No one killed Jesus but He gave His life for us so that we may live forever and forever and that we may never see death. evangelist paul from pakistan
