- Christ Evangelical Church was birthed through the vision and calling of its pioneer Rev. Shakeel Iqbal.
Rev. Shakeel Iqbal accepted Christ as his personal Savior at an early age. In June 1992, after baptizing he answered his call to preach the gospel. In October 1994 he has Started Preaching Gospel at local church when he was in high school. He has completed Masters of International Relation from Karachi University.
He got admission at St. Thomas Theological College Karachi. During his years of study, he served as assistant to several pastors and churches.
After completion three years courses from St. Thomas Theological College Karachi in 2004, he has started Christ Evangelism Ministries with some Pastors. In 2007 God has given him vision to start Christ Evangelical Church to serve as Pentecostal denomination in Karachi, Pakistan.
In 2007, he started Christ Evangelical Church is willing to be an instrument of the Lord that leads souls to Christ. He ministers the Word of God, so broken hearts can be healed and the captives can be set free.
Reverend Shakeel Iqbal has a great burden and vision to move his congregation "Out of the Ordinary Into Greatness." His vision has definitely caught on at Christ Evangelical Church, which is clearly evidenced by the consistent stream of visitors and new converts added to each service. He has been truly blessed with favors from God and man with many doors being opened for him to influence the political and business leaders of the City.
He got married with faithful lady Aster who is companion of his ministry, Now a he is the proud father of four daughters, Rachel Angela, unice and Angelina, who are truly an anointed and talented young girls.
