Reverend Stephen Paul Samuel
Biography

Stephen Paul Samuel is a native of Rome Georgia and is the son of Willie M. Samuel and the late Paul E. Samuel. He received his early education in the Rome City School System and later graduated with honors from Morehouse College in Atlanta Georgia obtaining a B.A. in African American Studies.
Reverend Samuel accepted the call into the Gospel ministry in August of 1995 and was ordained in May of 1999 under the leadership of Reverend Nim B. Russell, Pastor of the Thankful Missionary Baptist Church of Rome Georgia. Reverend Samuel received his early training in ministry by working as an associate minister under the leadership of several Pastors including Reverend William Smith of Atlanta Georgia, Reverend Doctor G. David Horton of Miami Florida, the late Reverend Doctor Willie J. Sanders of Trenton, New Jersey, as well as his pastor Reverend Russell. Rev. Samuel has also shared his gifts and talents through his work with the 7th District Baptist Association of Georgia, Seaboard Baptist Association of Florida, the Middlesex Central Baptist Association of New Jersey, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, The Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, as well as a host of other Christian Education programs.
In May of 2002 Reverend Samuel obtained a Masters of Divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey. During the same month Reverend Samuel accepted the call of God to become the 2nd Pastor of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church of Trenton, New Jersey.
