Music etc.): Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations” (Jeremiah 1:5). This verse aptly describes Pastor Roberto H. Robinson Sr. whom God has appointed for such a time as this. With an unmistakable call of God on his life, Pastor Robinson accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at the tender age of 8 years old in his native the Republic of Panama under the watchful eyes of his mother, Mother Elvira Robinson who has helped to nurture him into the anointed man of God he is today.
As young Roberto grew there was no doubt that the Lord had bigger and better plans for him so by Divine intervention in 1980 he migrated to the United States. With the Lord’s leading he soon became a member of the Refuge Temple Church of Jesus Christ under the guidance of his Pastor Bishop Derrick Smith. His spiritual growth was soon noticed and as a result he began to serve in several capacities in the Refuge Temple Church where he remained for almost 29 years. At Refuge Temple he was privileged to serve as Youth President, Pastor’s Aid President, Sunday School Teacher, Choir Director, Assistant Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Resident Pastor. In addition to serving the Refuge Temple Church, Pastor Robinson was elevated to the office of Overseer of the New York District for the Churches of God in Christ Jesus Apostolic where he planned meetings and ministered the Spoken Word in District Council meetings from time to time. His ministry that is not only limited to the Refuge Temple often takes him across the United States of America, Canada, The Republic of Panama as well as Jamaica to minister the Word of God or participate in conferences as presenter/teacher to bring clarity to the body of Christ.

After serving faithfully and receiving the necessary training at the Refuge Temple Church over these many years the Lord has called him by Divine destiny to establish a new and relevant ministry – Restoration Church of Jesus Christ Apostolic Inc. On the 15th of November 2009 Pastor Roberto Robinson was consecrated to the Sacred office of Bishop by Bishop Ersking Chambers and Bishop John Davis. Bishop Roberto Robinson is seeking to minister the Word of God to the individual, as well as people from all walks of life.

For the past three years he has been privileged to participate in the Kingsborough Community College Commencement. He pronounced the benediction for two consecutive years 2007 and 2008 respectively. In 2009 he did the Invocation.

Bishop Robinson is passionate about learning and his quest for knowledge has earned him a BA in Religious Education. On May 16, 2009 he was Valedictorian for the graduating class of 2009 at the Community Bible Institute and was also the recipient of a Masters Degree in Theology. This is certainly not the end it is just the beginning!

Bishop Robinson is is married to the love of his life First Lady Monica Robinson for r 24 years. The Lord has blessed them with three wonderful children Roberto Jr. Sabrina and Marcos who are also active in ministry.
