Why Johnny Can't Preach

WHAT’S THE BIG DEAL ABOUT WHOOPING?

Is whooping outdated and no longer desired in the African American Church?
Is whooping a reflection of the preacher/teacher intelligentsia?

At 9:15am on November 23, 2009, God's Word Bible Church said…: We would like to invite you to our outreach; our special guest is Evangelist Meadowlark Lemon (Former Harlem Globe Trotter). Meadowlark Lemon and his team The Harlem All Stars will be playing a basketball game at the Beverly Hills High School, located at 241 Moreno Blvd. Beverly Hills, Ca. March 12, 2010. at 7:00pm

The tickets are $15.00 in advance $20.00 at the door VIP tickets are $45.00 in advance only which consist of a meet and greet with Meadowlark and the team before the game for photo and autographs, along with seating in the first or second row. If you are interested in tickets call 424-750-9123.

We also will have programs for the event; they will be passed out to all the audience, which will be a minimum of 1600. If you have a ministry or business that you would like to display in the program, email me at pastoryancy@godswordbiblechurch.org and I will send you more information on that. The program will be autographed by Meadowlark and his team after the game so it be a souvenir, and every time they share their souvenir with someone in the future they will also be showing your ministry or business that is in the program.

In addition, we are having a clergy all you can eat hot breakfast, Saturday morning March 13, 2010. 10:00Am. Evangelist Meadowlark Lemon will be the guest speaker, the theme will be “Unity Among The Churches” so we are looking for all clergy or ministry leaders to attend. The seating is very limited so the breakfast is RSVP only so please RSVP as soon as possible to have your name added to the entrance list. The cost for this hot buffet Breakfast is $15.00 it will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton located at 5990 Green Valley Circle, Culver City Ca.

These events are far enough in advance, so that you can calendar them now if you are interested in being a part. Those that are Pastors/Clergy with a ministry please send your church information. The basketball game is an outreach so we would like to refer people to churches in their area after they receive Christ, so if you are in their area and you area a bible teaching church we would like to refer them to your ministry
