Bio for Shawn E. Manuel
Born: Stamford CT, grew up in South Norwalk, CT until she was a teenager, moved to Hardeeville, South Carolina until the age of 35. Shawn began her radio career in January 2000 at Savannah State College WHCR 90.3 fm, with the start of a Holy Hip Hop show, moving onto a nightly show as one of the Co-Host on WVGB 1490’s show called Gospel Groove, in Beaufort SC,

Then by way of syndication creating her own show called Gospel Impact syndicating the first show in 2004 WFBR 1590 AM in Baltimore, MD, and moving onto WBAW Praise 99.1 FM in Barnwell SC and on WAAW Rejoice 94.7 FM in Aiken SC serving Aiken South Carolina and Augusta Georgia.

Since then Gospel Impact has branched out to several stations throughout the US and the show is still picking up more stations as the weeks go by. In Markets from Houston, TX to Bronx , New York, Gospel Impact is flourishing.

Even as God has guided her steps, and has proven that she is a mouthpiece unto him, the Gospel Impact show carries its weight in outreach to people of different cultures and races. The show is geared toward youth and young adults, reaching all people and not just a religious culture, but Impacts the lives of the unchurched as well.

God is winning souls weekly and as time goes by, the show has encourage many to Christ. The show is Christ Centered and brings the message of the Gospel of the Kingdom to all people.

In the time frame given, being guided by the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Shawn has successfully made outreach apart of her lifestyle. Creating Events that will impact, motivate, and encourage to reach more with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Within the last 9years, beginning with WHOW 2000 , Springfest 2005, and Spring Break 08, God has opened the doors for many outreach events to take place in the recent years.

Her destiny and hopes are to expound, educate, encourage and impact by the word of God, until she has no breath left in her being. All being said, “its God’s ministry, the ministry of Reconciliation, that we profess and confess winning souls to the Kingdom of Heaven.

All in all, this is her mission and her life………..
