- Viola Austin Swint is the daughter of the late Reverend William Austin and the late Viola (Barron-Bailey) Austin. In 1989, Viola was found dead during a field exercise while she was enlisted in the United States Army, but God miraculously resurrected her. She accepted her call to preach in Okinawa, Japan in 1982. Because it is imperative to know the word to teach, she pursued an under-graduate degree from Wayland Baptist University, and graduated from the Hawaii Campus in May 1990. In the Fall of 1990 she enrolled at Fuller Theological Seminary Master’s of Divinity program. Fuller closed their Hawaii extension in 1992 and Viola transferred to International College and Graduate School of Theology and graduated in the Spring of 1995. She enrolled to Shiloh Theological Seminary in Virginia and was conferred with a Doctorate of Divinity and a Doctorate of Christian Letters in October 1997. She is an Ordained Minister with the Church of God, headquartered in Cleveland, Tennessee. She has written one book "Jude’s Letter Written So Wee People Can Understand," and is the president of Adonai Working Through VA Swint Ministries formally in Honolulu, Hawaii. Viola has spoken at various schools, workshops and churches, to include a Jewish Synagogue. Her heart's desire is to minister in a manner that is pleasing to God. Her resolute daily prayer is for Christians to know their Spiritual Position in Christ. Viola pastured Adonai Christian Fellowship in Honolulu, HI before moving to Texas. This church did not wait for the members to come to them their services are held in places such as: Prisons, streets ministering to the homeless and drug and alcohol addiction centers.
