Loving Greetings to you all in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! I praise the Lord for His mercy to share my testimony with you all.
I guess you could say I was blessed to be born into a Christian family. Without the truth of God being taught to me at a young age, I might not be alive today to tell others that there is only ONE way to be reunited spiritually with God the Father . . . " and that is by having a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, through the help of the Holy Spirit."
I will only be able to share just brief highlights of my testimony at this time, because it is very expensive for us to mail literature to America. We are very poor here, and we must be very careful not to spend what little money we have on expensive postage, because there are many hungry mouths to feed.
I am the eldest son of a poor family. I have two sisters and one younger brother. My parents lived each day to find whatever food they could for our family. We were very poor.
Growing up as a child I consumed mud, stones, and other things on the ground to fill my empty stomach. Consequently, by the time I was 14 years old my veins became very damaged; my stomach swelled to huge proportions, and I vomited blood a lot. Due to the damage done to me internally, I had to undergo an operation at the Christian Medical Hospital in Vellore, South India. I was critically ill, near the point of death. After this operation an infection developed within my body and I was brought all the way back to the C.M.C. Hospital and was admitted again in critical condition.
My parents were very poor and did not have the money to pay for my first operation, let alone the second one that I needed. It would take hundreds of dollars needed for my second operation, so they began to beg. What little money they were able to obtain went to the hospital to help pay for both of my operations.
Even during the second operation I can vouch and say that only the prayers of the doctors brought me back to life and saved me from the clutches of Satan. I have undergone two operations one after the other in the abdomen and only the Lord Jesus Christ could have saved me from death, and I am deeply indebted to Him. Even I was aware of my being brought by car from the village passing through hillocks and admitted to the hospital, but the moment they started to pray for me, I lost consciousness and an eternal bliss fell upon me. I am sure it was their praying that God responded to, to pull me through the operation. I pray daily to the Lord Jesus thanking Him for having spared my life.
It is by His stripes that I am healed, and I purpose to serve Jesus Christ the rest of my life. The Lord Jesus appeared before me one day in a vision and showed me vividly all of my sins, which caused me to surrender to Him. If you would like to be reconciled to God today, please click here to learn how you can do that too.
Then He spoke to me and called me into His service (Heb.5:4; Jer.1:5,6,7) to reach others for Him. There are so many here in India that Satan has bound with spiritual blindness. I was blessed to be able to attend a Bible College and devote three and a half years of rigorous training in the Word of God. The Lord has filled me with His blessing and strength (Luke 4:17-19), and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Through this miracle of my healing my Lord gave me a vision and guided me to offer free medical treatment to the poor and needy peoples of India. That is why we organized a Free Medical Camp Treatment Ministry by using doctors' services on a fee basis. Even after 50 years of independence in our country, there are so many thousands of villagers and millions of people dying in miserable conditions without having proper medical treatment. We purchase medicines on a credit basis and supply freely to our needy rural people. We take care of their souls with physical treatment, and ask that you please pray for this free medical camp to receive monthly support on a regular basis.
We held a Christmas Gospel healing crusade in Kilmonvoor Village. We conducted this public crusade meeting in the midst of much opposition from local ungodly young men. However, our Lord Jesus kept us safe in His mighty arms, praise God! People were healed from their fevers, stomach pains, headaches, chest pains, and many also were delivered from evil spirits causing them to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We want to conduct many crusades in the coming days in other slum village areas.
We are now conducting regular church services in two villages. One is Melmonvoor Village and the second one is Agravaram Village. We are conducting Sunday worship services and have to rent buildings for this. We urgently need our own plot of land to construct a church building; at the present time we are using hut sheds. Please do pray for us to receive help in this need.
We also are conducting a children's ministry (ages 3-17) in the slum village areas. We are teaching the children Bible stories, parables of Jesus Christ and Christian songs. More than 300 children accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. We regularly give out food and clothing to these children in our meetings. Our church kids send their greeting to you all!
We are also blessed to be able to distribute many thousands of gospel tracts and magazines through our Gospel Distribution Ministry in Tamil and the English languages. We distribute many old tracts and English magazines at all places including bus stands, homes, and exhibitions. We are trusting the Lord to impress Christians from America and around the world to sponsor us financially to help meet the transportation expenses we have to pick up these tracts from different publishers.
Every Sunday from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM, we conduct fasting prayer meetings. All prayer requests we kindly put at the feet of our Lord Jesus with humble prayers. We also refresh the prayer warriors coming from far distances with light food. We encourage you to send us your prayer requests to us and we will most humbly pray for you too.
Every third Friday we conduct Vigil Prayer - Watch Night Prayer Fellowship Ministry services without any denominational partiality. We use out-of-town station preachers too as guest speakers and we help these preachers with small financial gifts.
We also have a House Church where we conduct cottage prayer in our church believers' homes, which brings blessings and stops God's people from backsliding. Please pray for this ministry - your prayers will avail much.
Through the House Church ministry, we also distribute new and used clothing and food to the orphaned children and to the poor and destitute women. At the Christian festival times, we collect used clothing from some of the other local church believers for this purpose.
We are in need of balanced, Bible-based literature of all types (old magazines, used bibles and books) to minister to those who are hungry to know more about Jesus through our Gospel Distribution Ministry. Used magazines such as Charisma, Christianity Today, New Men, and other Christian magazines are greatly needed and appreciated. Christian teaching tapes, videotapes, and children's materials are also very useful in Christian faith building.
We run this individual ministry just by faith only. We meet challenges everyday from the Hindutuva, BJP, RSS, VHP and others. It is very very difficult to run this independent faith ministry without the support of others.
Believe it or not, we are doing ministry here on a full-time basis. We are asking the Lord to support us financially in any way He can, because the economy here in this part of India is in shambles. We have so little to feed the poor with who come to us just for a little food and medical attention.
If you feel the Holy Spirit tugging on your heart to sponsor this ministry with a regular monthly financial gift, your gift will be applied to the expenses of buying food, clothing, and gospel tracts we give to the destitute men, women and children of India. If you cannot afford to give financially, your gifts of new or used clothing from your loved ones or your friends from your local church of believers would be most welcomed and greatly appreciated.
Please remember that no gift is too SMALL. One American dollar can do so MUCH in the name of Jesus. A little financial gift from other countries whose economies are more stable than ours goes a very long way here in India to minister to the needs of the people.
We humbly request that you all kindly uphold this ministry by your supporting prayers and generous contributions. Dear brothers and sisters, please allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your inner heart to pray and help this ministry. Please do not harden your heart to what is the meaning of compassion and love - IT IS TO MEET OTHERS' NEEDS (I John 3:17; Matt. 5:42).
Please do not say, "I am regretfully sorry, I cannot help this ministry." Please send your used Christian books, magazines, tapes, Bibles, tracts, used clothing, your one-time gift, monthly offerings, Christmas gifts, or whatever the Lord lays on your heart to give to help reach the poor and needy souls through this church ministry to help us reach the lost. Your monetary and personal gifts go 100% directly into mission work here in South India.
For those who are impressed of the Lord to help in any way, we want to pray for specific needs that you may have as well. Please let us know how we can pray for you when you write to us. We EXPECT God to answer our prayers on your behalf that are in accordance with His will for your life. Please do not underestimate the faith God has given us to pray for the needs of those who are supporting us. I am looking forward to your positive replies as soon as possible. Please do act now and may God richly bless you all!

Apostle Timothy Chiles
Dear Preachers and Those in Ministry:
I need some bold preachers to go with me into the lion’s den!
I am a veteran African American Republican who in 1979, God sent into the Republican Party to bring about change and to bring down the walls of prejudice and call the party back to the place of its original birth as the Party of Lincoln.
This has not been an easy battle. I have shared those experiences in the book I wrote, Black Eyes Shut – White Lips Sealed (victorysongcollectionspublications.com). Yet I have stood against all odds, and now it is time to take it to the next level.
What I have seen is that the racism, mean spiritedness and the foolishness that is within the Republican Party is mostly at the top. Those who rise to the top, in most cases are the perpetrators. But when you go to the grass roots level, this almost is not there or it is in lesser degrees. Many at the grass roots level are those who believe what we believe, work with us and even share sweet fellowship. However, when you begin to get involved at the party level, this is where the demons of racism rear their heads and stand as gatekeepers.
Having taught American Government, State and Local Government and International Politics and Culture of Non-Western Countries as a political science professor at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, I understand government at all levels – even globally. I know what it will take to break the hold and to get pass the political gatekeepers. Sit-in and protests will do absolutely nothing! Even prayer alone will not suffice. But with the power of prayer, as well as the wisdom of God, we have to move into both parties and carve out a place for ourselves as Americans, if we want to share in America’s political power base. Yes, this means moving even into the Republican Party.
As the national chair for the Black Republican Women Organization, I began back in 1987 recruiting African American women into the GOP, who were not willing to be tokens, but who could retain their blackness.
Presently, I head the National Republican African American Caucus. It is a unique republican organization because it allows African Americans to be a part of a collective body that can and will bring about change. Our goal is 1.5 million by 2012, and 500,000 in 2010. You may ask why so many? It is because political strength is in numbers! In politics, believe it or not, it has very little to do with color. It has to do with numbers and the ability to write the check. If you can show you have a substantial number of people who can stand as a voting block, and have the ability to finance your own cause, then you become a significant player within the political landscape. This is the ONLY way that we gain and retain political power. This is how we as African Americans get to the table, have a voice and place ourselves in appointed and elected positions. This is how we stop some of the foolishness that is going on in politics.
As an African American Republican, I proudly voted for President Obama in the general election. But his ability to win was because he was able to get beyond the gatekeepers and become a political player within the Democratic Party. Now we have to do the same thing within the Republican Party!
Having said all of this, I need men and women of God who will join with me to fulfill this mandate, and will join the NRAAC and even begin local caucuses. I don’t want everyone! Because it is important to remain political players in both parties. We need to be in the Democratic and Republican parties. I just need a significant number of praying people, and those who are strong and can take a stand for what is right to come into the Republican fold, so that our voices are heard.
I ask you to go to the NRAAC website at www.nraacaucus.org and see what we are all about. Then pray about this and see if you are one of the ones who God is saying, “I call you to take a stand on the other side (the Republican Party), so that you can make a difference.”
Also see if perhaps God is calling you to serve in a leadership capacity. In November, we will be making new appointments of regional and state chairs, and advisory board and national board members. If you are interested, and decide to become a member, you may submit your name, bio/resume for consideration.
I look forward to those of you who are godly and truly believe in justice and compassionate, yet self-responsibility and responsible government, joining our ranks!
…And for those of you who already are Republicans, we welcome you to the family of African American Republicans.
Let’s ALL go forth, and make a positive difference regardless of which party we are in!
Feel free to e-mail me at jean.howard.hill@gmail.com or jean-howard-hill@utc.edu, and to pass this e-mail on. Tennessee also has a state caucus at www.tnraacaucus.org. The websites for other states should be up by the end of October 2010. We welcome members from all states!
Look forward to hearing from you and even seeing you at the April 9th – 10th NRAAC Conference. Our theme: Setting the Republican Agenda to Include People of Color.
In His Service,
Dr. Jean Howard-Hill, Nat’l Chair

"You acted foolishly," Samuel said (1 Samuel 13:13).
The prophet Samuel had anointed King Saul the first king of Israel. He was now thirty years old and was leading the nation in battle against the Philistines. The Philistines had gathered at Micmash to come against Saul and his army. The Lord was directing Saul through the prophet Samuel as God had instructed. Samuel instructed Saul to go ahead of him to Micmash and he would follow in seven days. He would then offer a burnt offering on behalf of the people of Israel.
The pressure began to build as the Philistines gathered around Micmash preparing for battle. The people of Israel began to fear this battle and began to scatter throughout the countryside. Saul was getting more fearful. Samuel did not show up on the morning of the seventh day. Finally, Saul became fearful of the impending attack and took it upon himself to offer the burnt offering. After he had done this, Samuel showed up. "You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time. But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him leader of his people, because you have not kept the Lord's command."
Saul believed he needed to take control of the situation. Whenever we take control of a situation out of the will of God, it demonstrates we are led by fear. Many a boss is so driven by fear that it motivates him to manage by over-control of his people. This results in codependent relationships in which the employees are fearful of making the wrong decisions, and they are driven to please the manager at all costs. This results in loss of respect for the manager. Many times the employee ends up making poor choices just to please the manager so that resentment begins to build within the employees due to the manager's over-control.
Do you see any signs of over-control in how you relate to others? Can you allow others the freedom to fail? Do you find yourself changing directions in mid-stream when you see something you don't like? Are you fearful of failure? These are all symptoms of a Saul control spirit. Pray that God will allow you to walk in the freedom of trusting in Him and those around you.
