Evangelist Sydney Jones was born to the parents of Elder Alvincent and Sister Carmen Jones on June 18, 1985 in Raleigh, NC. He was raised as the Eldest of four in the home. Evangelist Jones has spent most of his life in the "Holiness Church". It because of this upbringing that many listeners of his sermons say that he, "preaches like he has an old soul". Evangelist Jones was brought up by his parents with the help of his grandparents, the late Deacon Alphonzo and Mother Heloise Sidney. Since anyone can remember as long as Evangelist Jones has been talking he has been preaching. It was not until March of 2006 that he officially accepted the call of minstry. He preached his initial sermon under the leadership of his father, Elder Al Jones at Grace & Truth Church in Spring Lake, NC. Later in that same year, Evangelist Jones’ job transfered him to Raleigh, NC. It was there that he attended Lincoln Park Holiness Church under the leadership of Bishop Eli Ratcliff, Jr. After attending several worship services the Lord led Evangelist Jones to join the church. After joining Lincoln Park Holiness Church, Evangelist Jones has been utilized in many capacities of the church and the conference of Truevine Assembly of Pentecostal Churches, Inc. Often times Evangelist Jones has spoken in the place of his pastor and Presiding Bishop Eli Ratcliff, Jr. Evangelist Jones is sought after for conferences, conventions, revivals and the like. Evangelist Jones believes that his ministry are to those that are hurting and to the saints that have fallen by the wayside.
