- Varian D. Harris was born in Macon, GA and raised in Griffin, GA. He is the fifth child of Rev. James and Mildred Harris in a family of six siblings. As a third generation minister in his family, he accepted the call. Varian began singing and leading various praise and worship teams during his early years in ministry. He eventually grew to become a great minister and student of the word of God and decided to further his knowledge of Christ by attending Beulah Heights University. He is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Leadership Administration and minor in Biblical Education.
As leader of the Joshua Generation Ministries Intl, his role is to empower, inspire, and motivate young people to achieve every goal in their life. To fulfill this goal he holds an annual event called the Ignite My Fire Conference. This conference would allow the youth to be trained in such a way that their dreams would be ignited. Last year he was awarded a Proclamation from the Fulton County Commissioners wherein October 29-31 were declared Ignite My Fire Days in the county.
He is also sophomore class president of the Student Government Association at BHU. In high school he was nominated senior class president for the class of 2005. During his time in office he collaborated with the American Red Cross in a blood drive for Africa. Over 300 hundred units of blood were collected for the cause. Varian also served as the Dean of Pledges for Bogarsons Civic Club. By holding this title he was in charge of taking pledge to do community service work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Feed the Hungry, Angel Food Drive, and Salvation Army Christmas Dinner.
