Meditation for the week: 'BE STEADFAST IN PRAYER' COLOSIANS 4:2



Apostle Paul encouraged the Colossian Christians to be 'Steadfast' in prayers.

The Dictionary describes the word 'steadfast' as fixed in direction;

steadily directed firm in purpose, resolution, faith, attachment

unwavering, as resolution, faith, adherence. We cannot underestimate the

importance of prayers in our lives as children of God, the bible talks

People give up on us for three reasons. First, untrustworthiness. Working with

someone we don't trust is a miserable experience. And we lose the trust

of others when we act inconsistently in what we say and do, seek

personal gain above shared gain, withhold information, lie or tell

half-truths, and become closed-minded. Trust is like a mirror - when

1. Anyone who has ever made an attempt to pray for the dead to be raised will be faced with many challenging questions on the possibility of such prayers coming to pass.

More questions will play up on your mind when you are praying for someone who had died for over four days or for several weeks and has been embalmed and put in a morgue at a funeral home awaiting burial to be raised to life by the power of God.
