It's a Test of Faith

'...you... tested us... refined us like silver... brought us to a place of abundance.' Psalm 66:10-12

When Jesus explained the cost of following Him, some of His disciples walked

away. Yet the impact of those who didn't is still felt in the world

today. By the time they wrote their epistles, His apostles had learned

to see every test in life as a chance to strengthen their faith and

multiply their effectiveness. Tests of faith are opportunities… Continue

God Is Still on the Throne!

'In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne...' Isaiah 6:1

The Bible says that in the end times certain things will happen. For

example, 1) '...you will hear of wars... famines... and earthquakes...'

(Matthew 24:6-7 NKJV). For much of the world, these things are now a

daily reality. 2) Jesus said, '...many will come in My name... and will

deceive many' (Matthew 24:5 NKJV). In recent years we've seen the rise

of false prophets… Continue

Have a Not-to-Do List

'...My purpose is to give them a rich... satisfying life.' John 10:10

Jesus wants you to enjoy a '...rich... satisfying life' (John 10:10 NLT),

without getting bogged down by things that don't add value or meaning.

Life coach Robyn Coffman says, 'Clutter isn't only what you can see;

it's what you can't see. It perpetuates your overloaded schedule,

endless commitments and overwhelming fears. A cluttered mind means

over-thinking, over-reacting,… Continue

Fight for Your Family

Eli the High Priest lived to see his two sons killed in battle, the Ark of the Covenant captured by the Philistines, and his daughter-in-law

give birth to a child called Ichabod, which means 'the glory has

departed from Israel'. There's a lesson here. Today the devil is trying

to take the Ark - God's influence - out of our homes. Through media and

peer pressure the forces of darkness are seeking to capture the minds

of our children by exposing them to the wrong… Continue

WHO IS THE IDOLS OF YOUR HEART ?

"IDOLS OF THE HEART"

"You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the

waters below. You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I,

the LORD your God, am a jealous God…” (Exodus 20:4-5, NIV)

"Son of man, these men have set up idols in their hearts and put wicked

stumbling blocks before their faces” (Ezekiel 14:3, NIV).

The primitive Africa was full of idolatry. The more I like… Continue

The Cry of an Empty Heart

"If we confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. " (Romans

10:9)

You say " I don't feel saved ". Who are you going to believe? yourself, the devil or the word of God. The bible says...."God

so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever

believes in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life. " (John

3:16). Gods not a liar, there is no sin in God, all… Continue

The Cry of an Empty Heart New message

'...the world offers... a craving for everything we see...' 1 John 2:16

A Christian author writes, 'There was a teenager with lots of friends who

excelled in school... But looks can be deceiving. I know. I'm that

girl. At 7, a neighbour molested me... at 8, I watched my grandfather

collapse with a stroke... at 10, my dad left and never returned... my

parents divorced... my world got worse by the year. I asked Christ into

my life but I still felt guilty,… Continue

GENTLENESS

The word 'gentleness' sounds so much like weakness that we are tempted to think of the word 'wimp'. Nothing could be further from the truth!

Jesus said, 'Blessed are the meek [gentle], for they shall inherit the

earth' (Matthew 5:5 KJV). Notice, the gentle don't strive, manipulate

or compete like others, yet they inherit everything. When you 'inherit'

something you don't have to strive for it, you receive it because

you're loved, valued, and part of the family.… Continue
