The Pharisees continued a battle against Jesus with their traditions and religious tantrums and fits. The Lord declared unto the multitude and disciples in Matthew 23 the entire chapter but more specifically vs 1-4. It declares expressedly:

2Saying, The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat;

3All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not ye after their works; for they…

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness. Rom. 4:5...Therefore being justified by faith we have PEACE with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: (vs2) By whom also we have access by faith INTO this GRACE wherein we STAND, and rejoice in HOPE of the glory of God..Rom 5:1-2..

My people know My voice..these are the words that My King and Sovereign Ruler uttered to assure His children that are adopted into His lineage by the blood of the Lamb.
