This is the day the Lord has made , let us Rejoice an be glad in it..Psalm 68:3 said "let the righteous be glad; let them Rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly Rejoice. In the scriptures we are commanded to express joy before our God, to Rejoice in the Lord always.
