Unmarital sex

I was raised in the Church of God in Christ. I was taught that once you are saved that your suppose to abstain from unmarital sex because that's a sin. I believe my body is the Lord's temple and I 've decided to be celibant until I'm married. However, I know people who are saved that still have unmarital sex. I just want to know how some of you feel about it. Thank you.

I read your question. I am so glad that you asked it.
I love to destroy the works of the devil in this area because it one the largest areas that the enemy has attacked us in for a very long time.
I hope that you have the time to pray over this information that I will share with you.
First of all, God is very real and I know that you know that.
God has told us with very strong language to love Him with all our heart, soul, mind and strength (Mark 12:30). That means to be faithful to Him at all times with the knowledge that He is present at all times, nothing is hide from Him.

Secondly, God is your Husband... yes, your Husband
For thy Maker [is] thine husband; the LORD of hosts [is] his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called. (Isaiah 54:5

St. John chapter 15:1 I am the true vine and my Father is the Husbandman.
The Maker and creator of the universe is your first Husband.

Next, This Husband is jealous and He requires and desires for us to be faithful to Him.

You might ask how is this......anything that is not of his Spirit is idolatry.

The Lord hates idolatry because idolatry separtes His people from Him.

Read Galatians third chapter and it gives us the activity of the Spirit and the acitivy of wickedness.
When anyone has intercourse with some one that is not legally their spouse we commit an unfaithful act to God, our Husbandman.

When we turn away from unfaithful acts we commit an act of worship.
