And Saul said to David, you are not able to go against this philistine to fight with him, for you are a youth, he a man of war from his youth: I Sam 17:33
Nobody has ever expect to finding something valuable in the trash bin or something appreciable in the trash, for trash bins are made specifically for rubbish, but God uses the foolish things to shame the wise. Recently a dear friend underwent surgery. Praise God she came through well and her recovery is going on well. Since the surgery she hadn’t the strength to clean her home. So my Lord has placed on my heart the willingness to be there and clean her home for her. So as I clean her apartment, I did it with joy, I felt complete in me as I see myself helping a sister. As I swept the trash, I found a penny in the trash bin; I smiled as I reached down to pick it up. The Spirit of the Lord spoke clearly to me “There is value in the trash bin”. And I repeat the same words in me, that there is value in the trash, first and foremost without a trash bin, no community, office and house can be in order, so a trash bin becomes an orderly place. Why can’t you look at yourself and say, I am an orderly person, without me my community can never be clean, and in me there are hidden treasures, so many things can be found in me. Has it ever cross your mind that you are a diamond field? Or an oil field? Yes you are, these places I mentioned are not beautiful, (a diamond or oil field is never a beautiful place,) but these fields are rich, you are rich and not a trash bin. So in the trash bin there is something to pick up, what is in your own trash bin? You will remain an empty trash bin, if you refuse trash in your trash bin, any trash you see in your bin has something good, make use of it. Listen, many people, who have been on drugs, prostitution, and abusive relationships, they turn there trash over to the Lord, and He points out to them the value that was hidden in the trash! You might not be useful now, but stand up today and turn the light on, you may be considered by many as a trash, not useful, not educated, poor or with a poor social status an endless list, but my dear you are not what people think you are or take you for, nobody knows you better than yourself, it is you alone that knows you limits and capabilities. So If you have ever been hurt, broke, broken, burdened, let down, put down or stepped on, give glory to the Lord. The Lord is about to point out the value found in the trash for you. David was a trash to his brothers, never considered, even have to stay with sheep and cattles far in the bush, he was only used for silly things, nobody took him serious, but he was rise from the dust to become a king, so shall you be raised from the dust too higher place.
Be blessed.
