Deliverance and Healing

It has been a while since I have shared my heart in a blog, but today it is necessary.
Someone needs a word from God today.
Someone is living in brokenness today.
Someone will be delivered today.
I stopped sharing the details of my life through my blog because I was afraid that people would see the areas of my life that really needed to be fixed. Although I shared very personal details with strangers before, oddly enough, I did not want fingers to be pointed at me. I was told to deliver a word to people and chose not to because I was so focused on how I could free myself from a place of brokenness that I had been living in. How could I help someone get free if I was living in bondage myself?
With God, all things are possible.
Right now, I am still trying to figure out why God chose to use me.
I grew up in the projects, I used to have fist-fights with my mom, I started having sex in my early teens, had an abortion after having 3 kids, tried to commit suicide, done drugs (Yes, weed counts), was in and out of bad relationships, etc. etc. etc. Read my past blogs and you will see that I have not always lived or done right.
See...That's where God comes in.
God wants others to see what you have been delivered from.
Deliverance.
People want to know that you have been through something. They want to know you made it out of that bad situation you were in. - You know, the one that had you thinking about taking your own life...the one that had you thinking about taking someone else's life...Yeah, that one. When you fight and make it through life's storms, you are the HOPE for someone else who will experience the exact same thing or something similar.
Whatever life changes you go through, God is right there. Never doubt that.
Your life is your testimony. There may be something that is going on in your life, at this moment while you are reading this. You don't know which way to turn. Things look crazy. It doesn't look like you're going to make it. You've tried to fix things your own way and failed. It's time to call in the Miracle-Worker. His way is the only way. Through Him will come your healing. Through Him will come your deliverance.
God is on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, all year long.
Call on Him. Tell Him you want to get free. Forget about whatever negative thing someone else may have told you. You will be a victor. You will be able to tell someone the exact same thing... That they can make it...Because you will be a living witness of what God can do. They will see that did God something wonderful in your life. He did not leave you. He held your hand along the way.
You need God in your life like you need air to breath. Life is so much easier and better with God in it, so why make things harder than they have to be?
God wants to deliver you from whatever has you bound because through you will come someone else's way to healing. He wants to work through you regardless of what your life looked like in the past or what it looks like now.
