TALES FROM THE CRYPT!

ARE YOU A TROGLODYTE?

Troglodyte is a word that is Greek in origin and it means cave dwellers. Those that live in caves instead of homes. It also refers to those who would rather live among the dead than to dwell, thrive and live among the living.

I believe that we have many troglodytes today. Those who choose rather to live among dead people, dead ministries, dead relationships, dead things, dead dreams, dead visions, dead spirits than to dwell in the place of plenty, abundance, anointing, favor, freedom, liberty, blessings and anointing.

The Bible says that there was a man who made his dwelling among the tombs. He spent his days and nights cutting himself. He spent his days and nights throwing himself in the flames. He was more comfortable with the dead than the living...WHY?

It is because he was bound by self-loathing, pain, hurt, frustration, angst, and yes by suicide. We often think that the spirit of suicide makes quick victims of its prey. Sometimes this is the case but more often it isn't. More often than not, the person that is bound by this spirit is slowly but surely dying among us. They are right in front of us and God wants to know, "My Church, where is the Spirit of Discernment?" "Do you see them throwing themselves in the flames?" "Do you see their torment?" "What are you going to do?" "Woe be unto them that are at ease in Zion!" "Wake thou that sleepest!" "Do you not see the bleeding?" "Do you not care?" "WOE!"

God sent His Son not to get those who were in cozy places...in fact, He came to heal those that desperately needed a physician. He came to help those who are in the most pain, the deepest distress and the ugliest of situations. He came to bring not just LIFE but He came to GIVE LIFE AND LIFE MORE ABUNDANTLY! He was sent to the cave to call out every troglodyte from the dark cave of sin and shame. He came to call them. He has lifted up His voice and with authority, conviction and compassion He is crying, "COME OUT OF GADARA!" "COME OUT OF THE DEAD PLACE!" "COME OUT OF THE TOMBS!" "COME OUT OF THERE!" "COME OUT OF THE FIRE!" "COME OUT OF HELL!"

There are countless among us whose hearts, lives, minds, esteems, spirits and bodies are riddled with the scars of self-loathing. Every time you sin you form an alliance with Satan for your destruction. Every time you compromise you are cutting yourself. Every time you allow yourself to stay in a dead place you are becoming more and more like your dwelling and not like your calling. You are called to power! You are called to glory! You are called to healing and then to WHOLENESS! You are called to the Light! You are called to a wealthy place! You are called not to DIE BUT LIVE!

God not only wants you to come out of GADARA...He wants you to share your TALES FROM THE CRYPT! The Word of God says that we OVERCOME by the Word of our Testimony! I learned from Evangelist Summer Tatum that, God doesn't just want us to be survivors, He is calling us to be OVERCOMERS! (Thanks Summer - What a Revelation!) I believe that the revelation is this -- God called you out of the tombs and out of the Gadara, and out of self-loathing and out of bondage and out of of the caves of sin and shame to tell your TALE of deliverance FROM THE CRYPT! Your testimony will not only cause YOU to overcome -- there are thousands still in the tombs, still in the caves, still in the CRYPT that need a Word from one who has been there and is now OUT OF THERE!
