Today's Scripture coming from the Book(s) of:
Mark 12:32-44- Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your SERVANT.And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of
ALL.
Matthew 20:28- Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to SERVE, and to give His life a ransom for many.
Matthews 25:21- Well done, good and faithful SERVANT; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things, Enter into the Joy of the Lord.
Today's Devotional:
My Beloved, Jesus Christ, illustrated genuine greatness and Spiritual ranking in His own life as He Served other rather than expecting others to wait upon Him. Jesus assumed the Humble role of a Lowly Servant. ( Phil. 2:6-8- Who being on the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of bond-SERVANT, and coming in the likeness of men. And being in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even death of the cross).
My Goodness, As I'm being lead by the Holy Spirit to write this Devotional... I realize,All we really are in this walk with the Lord is a SERVANT. I mean Our Father's Only Begotten Son Jesus was that of a " bond-SERVANT. He came to serve. Many.. folks, walk around thinking they are ALL... That! OK! Just because they hold a Title As a: Minister., Bishop, Apostle, Pastor. But All.. they really are is a Servant. Your Desire in this walk should be Just that to SERVE. In order for one to have a desire to serve it begins in the HEART. In the book of: John 13:1-17. Jesus was more concerned about the attitudes in the hearts of His followers. O bless the Name of Jesus Christ Our Lord and Savior. In reading the Word of God, It Should inspire Every Believer to experience the same Victory through denying SELF.
I want to hear the Lord say..... "Well Done, Good and Faithful SERVANT."
Don't Get Me wrong we are here to Serve.. others.. But we also need to take time Out for Ourselves. Jesus did, He would Go away alone to pray.... to spend time with the Father. So in Your Serve of Serving Others.. Be sure to get away from the Crowd.. and Spend it in the Presence of the Lord, find out from the Lord in your quit time, who and what serves you need to provide for the day. coming before the Throne of Grace, Meditating on His Word. Sending up songs of Praise.. and Worship.
Remember Jesus came to the World with one goal- to SERVE, Even to the Point of laying down His life for Us.
Today's Things to Remember:
Stay in the Word of God
There is POWER! in Prayer
There is POWER! in the Name of Jesus
Praise the Lord in Good times.. and in Bad times...
You came to SERVE
To God be the Glory!
Today's Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I come to the Throne of Grace with a Humble Spirit. Asking for Forgiveness of My sins... Cleans me in the Blood of Jesus Christ. Search My Heart.. and take Out everything that is not like You. I Love You, I adore You, I praise You, I Honor You. And I Worship You. I Love You Lord, Not for what You do but! for who You are.
Heavenly Father, I lift before You everyone that is reading.. this devotional on today. Lord, You know them name by name. And strand of hair by strand of Hair. Lord, in the Name of Jesus. I plead the Blood of Jesus over their Homes, Cars, Finances, Health, Families. Lord, give each Reader the desire in their hearts... to be of Serve unto you. To serve.. without complaining... to Humble themselves before you, to deny themselves, and pick up their cross, and Follow the ways.. of Jesus. I pray for a Spirit of Humbleness.. to fall down on them. I pray that they will not focus on " TITLE" But of being of SERVE unto Your People.To realize that all they are is a SERVANT. Here to serve.. until the coming of Your Son Jesus. In Jesus name. I Pray. Amen. and Amen.
