Characteristics of A Jezebel Spirit

There are many things in life that a lot of people don't understand. And at one time, this subject that I am about to write about is something I
actually studied about in a class.

It is interesting to find out that people with a Jezebel spirit is very manipulating. They like control and will do most anything to get what they want or maybe I
should say, get their way.

I am not saying that everyone that likes to be in control, has a Jezebel spirit. This spirit though at times is almost unrecognizable.

They seem to have spiritual gifts, they are threatened by a leader that has the gift of prophecy. The one that has the gift of prophecy is at times is the one of Jezebel
spirit''s target of concern.

Such individuals will often zero in on the pastor and church staff seeking to find the weakest link in order to subdue them. Their eventual goal in a church is to run the church.

Such a person will form strategic affiliations with people who are perceived by others to be spiritual or influential with others.

These individuals will seek after recognition by manipulating situations to gain advantage. They may even go as far as to conjure up dreams and
visions from imaginations or go as far as to copy someone else when
revealed.

False humility becomes a short lived trait that they use to get recognition.

Often you will hear them saying when being corrected about something, I was just following God, or God told me to do this.

They will not appeal to proper authority. Rather first they appeal to others. often their opinion becomes the last word on matters thereby
elevating their thoughts above the pastor

Desiring to avoid accountability these individuals prefer to pray for people in isolated situations, in a corner or in another room.

Eager to gain control these people will gather others to seek to teach them. While the teachings may begin correctly, doctrine is often established that is not
supported by the Word of God. Deceiving others by soulish prophecy or
by words that someone wants to hear, these individuals seek to gain
credibility. They prophesy half-truths.

Some individuals may also try to take advantage of someone else poor memory by twisting their previous prophecies to make it seem as if their words have come to pass.
Although the laying on of hands is biblical, these individuals like to
impart a higher level in the spirit-or break down walls that have held
someone back-by laying on of hands. However, their touch is actually a
curse. Instead of a holy blessing, an evil spirit may be imparted.

Spiritual pride is masked at times because of poor self esteem. They may cry, wail, or mourn-claiming a burden from God.

If married, their spouse is usually weak spiritual,unsaved, or miserable. Their family life is shaky.

Be very careful who lays their hands on you to pray for you.

I pray that God give you the gift of discernment to know when there is someone with a Jezebel spirit at work in your midst, whether it be in
church, at home, or maybe even on your job.

And God give you the wisdom to know how to stand against this spirit and be free.

Great, thanks for this write up. Jezebel is actualy one of the principalities in the unholy trinity with many other spirits under her. Her principal weapon is deception. A good book to study DEMONS DEFEATED BY BILL SUBSCRITZY?
