A SNEAK PEEK INTO A NEED FOR LOVE By Author, Didi Tillson
A NEED FOR LOVE is a story that has never been revealed in such a rare structure. The voices are spoken in vernacular by the characters for the lack of education they possess.
Within A NEED FOR LOVE, there is a history of storytelling, vs. plays vs. novels and films. The story pops out automatically. For example: Momma Ann Parker, a woman who was unable to have children of her own, was given a baby girl five days after her birth, by a teenage girl who had already given birth to one child previously. Ms. Parker (known as Momma Ann) realizes her dreams when she finalizes an agreement to raise this child as her own, which Momma Ann would abruptly change the baby’s last name to Parker, illegally.
On the birth certificate of the newborn baby girl, the father had three (3) names; DO NOT REVEAL.
Many young adults are privy to the chain of events that happen in every day life, be it good, unresponsive, or petrifying. Yet, many have not experienced the trauma and heart-felt agony, a child encounters growing up in unnatural environments, which could possibly lead to death by suicide, and/or leave them brain damaged, or unable to communicate with the world around them, as they grow older.
Born Ami Elizabeth Harris, now last name Parker, at the tender age of five years old is repeatedly sexually abused and mistreated by the perverted babysitter, into her adolescent years while living with relatives of Ms. Parker’s.
An atrocious mistake in Ami’s search for compassion as a teenager will leave her pregnant at the age of sixteen, with her first crush on an older person.
Momma Ann Parker being a woman swollen with pride, and a strict parent, has an attitude towards her daughter and becomes bitter after the baby is born. Ami’s child is later stolen from her, and no one would help get him back...not even her Momma Ann, the woman who raised her.
The changes within Momma Ann Parker’s character is bound to make you wonder why she did what she did to the daughter she always wanted.
Ami embarks on a long journey in quest of "A Need For Love" but first she will live through the many pitfalls and prophecies told by her spiritual mentor Ben Jefferson, whom she meets along her journey in life.
The conflict, essence of the screen story and the formula will surely out rank the box office sales of, “The Color Purple.”
I can go on telling you about the story, the main characters, and its twists and turns, but it will not be as intriguing as when you read it for yourself…or will it!
