A Special Easter Message

As you celebrate the saviour who died and rose again for you, consider this:- you are the apple of His eye, the object of His love, made in His image and made as righteous as He is. He was the perfect sacrifice to pay for your sin, separated from His Father on your behalf, entered into hell and took captivity captive and released for you the full throne rights of heaven into your safe keeping.

At Easter we celebrate His death and resurrection but too often forget the mandate that it brings, that we (the believers) now are the representation of the power of God on earth, endued with power, commissioned to bring the life changing gospel to all who would hear and be the very representation of God on the earth.

In the 50 days that followed the crucifixion, the disciples sought after God, that they might know Him and know his plans for them and represent him well, then endued with the power of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost they set about fulfilling that call for the rest of their lives. I pray that you too will receive the fulness of that power and likewise set about that call to change the world in which you live.
