ALWAYS CONSULT GOD FIRST!
Good Idea or God-Idea? Whatever you do, it must be more than just a good idea... it must be a :God-idea". A good idea is a fifty/fifty propostion-in other words, it may be a good idea to you and no one else. But a God-idea is one that you've consulted the Lord about and gotten the "go-ahead".
ALWAYS CONSULT GOD FIRST!
John 10:4-5 tells us that his sheep know his voice and a stranger they will not follow. If you get an idea and you think it's a good one, consult the Lord about it. Recognize His authority. Let God speak first concerning your future... you should speak second. A good idea may have come from him. He may have dropped it into your spirit. If so, let him speak to you about it more. Consult Him! Never just charge ahead without his approval.
The minute you cut God out, you begin to lose energy and zeal. The favor from God begins to cease and obstacles begin to get bigger.
That is the lesson I want to give you this year. Live a life of obedience to the Lord. If you do that, doors will open that you never imagined possible. With success, you also sometimes get persection from the enemy, but don't let that deter you. If you stay close to the Lord and move forward anyway-if you consult him, stick with him, stay passionate about him, and follow his lead-you will see success in life. Spiritually, physically, and financially, you will experience the amazing goodness of the Lord!
