Be Thankful
We all have at one time or another did what I call a “life evaluation”. During this time, many focus on the things that are lacking in his or her life. Instead of focus on all the good times God has provided and accomplished in our lives. I recall about 20 years ago, I was complaining to God about all I had to do and not having enough time in the day to accomplish them. A co-laborer of the gospel share her story with me and it change my position of complaining to the sphere of being committed to live a thanksgiving life.
You see, this prophetic minister had married for 4 times and inherited 16 children and she was widow four times. That’s not the icing on the cake, she was also left with no money to assist with the nurturing and providing for this blessed children. The point I want to make, we can stay in the position of complaining and live a life negativity results or we can take the high road and experience a Christ-like achievement life.
Thankful living and lifestyle accumulate an atmosphere of great expectancy, good things to visit a man’s vineyard of life. Jeremiah 30:19 says, “…out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small”.
Today take a Selah moment, and let the voice of triumph and thanksgiving come out of your loins.
Thanksgiving people are happy people. Thanksgiving people are people who are grateful and appreciate all God has provided. Could you imagine having a child who is some rude, unappreciative all you have invested for their life for them to like above, beyond life that is reflection of God’s goodness? They execute attitudes such as its your job to do it. They do not value the privilege to attain what you have made available to them. I could imagine this is how we look when we walk through and not display a heart of being thankful to God.
Do not grumble because you don’t get what you want: be thankful you don’t get what you deserve!
Today, be thankful of the big, small and even the storms of life as well. Storms cause a righteous man’s to pursue God at a higher dimension. It cause a greater anointing to come upon us and the works of our hands.
Remember, diamonds are produced through fire. The greater the fire, the greater the value. Cooperate with God’s plan to increase your kingdom capacity and be mindful, it does not means we have to go through the fire and stormy seasons in order to move in a scope of ever-increasing anointing.
I love the way, Apostle Paul put it in Philippians 4:11-12 and says, “Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content: I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need”.
Today, purpose to have a thanksgiving to God day and don’t let anyone clog your life pathway of demonstrating a life of one who is thankful for all God has done. No one in the earth can honestly say, “God has not pour goodness in his or her life. God has been good to us all”. Share the heart of thanksgiving and be a kingdom model in our day of one who is thankful and cherish having a life full of our loving Father’s goodness.
Cut off the mindset of complaining and murmuring. Decide to live a good life and experience life in the sphere of God’s goodness. Purpose to have a good and amazing life Christ came to you as joint-heirs with Him. Have a dominion-activating, prophetic-fulfillment, victorious-advancing life in Christ!
