All of us are called to something. According to Jeremiah, it was before we were conceived that God placed a purpose in our life. So you don’t have to worry about how your life is going to go. We often look at the giants of our day, the great men and women who are being used in such powerful ways, and assume that they’ve never had moment of self-doubt. But that has never been the case.
Take, for example, our Lord, Jesus. He was the Imago dei (the image of God), the savior of the world, but yet he had his moments of struggle. In the garden as he prayed "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me.” [Mt. 26: 39]; on the cross, he cried out "Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? - My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" [Mt. 27: 46]. Surely if Christ could feel his frailty so will we.

I had a singularly unique experience. Sunday morning, as I went about greeting the congregants, one of the members of the church flatly rebuked me. She said I was to loud when I spoke – she said that I was to affirmed. She said she walked out as I preached and didn’t like my message. I stopped short of responding to here and said, God bless you.

I could have easily looked inward after that confrontation, but I did not. Why because everyone will not be able to walk with you. The call to purpose is not always heard by the onlookers of your life. As Jesus’ own disciples made evident, for after he had revealed his purpose at Jerusalem – Peter took him aside and rebuked him. [Mrk 8: 31-32]

Can you believe it! He rebuked Jesus!

The story tells us something about life. On the road to destiny, there will be those among you, even in your inner circle who cannot handle the fire you will walk through – who will consider your call to ambitious – or a fool’s errand. Don’t listen to them! Do not allow the spirit doubt to work its way in you through your peers. If God calls you to a thing – no one’s doubt in you can stall it – no one’s desire in you can stop it!

Now it’s time for you to take the mantle, and run your race. God has anointed you to change the world. Get in divine alignment with His intentions for your life and go from ordinary to extraordinary! Trust God’s timing, because everything you go through in life is preparing you for the potential being actualized in you walk.
