Deliverance Is the Will of God for today!, Deliverance is in the Great Commission, "In my name you shall Cast out demons", Jesus

Mark Chapter 7 Verses 25-30
(King James Version)
It says here speaking of a
Syrophenician Woman

25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:
26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs. 28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.29 And he said unto her, For this saying go thy way; the devil is gone out of thy daughter.30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed
Again we see the Syrphenician Woman found in Matthew 15:22-28 (King James Version)
22And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
The Greek shows us that the cause of the sickness was extreme and was caused by a devil or a demon.
She was a Gentile and she was from the country of Canaan.
This Syrophenician woman was a descendant of a people God commanded Israel to conquer and destroy. She knew that. The Israelites were supposed to have destroyed all of the Canaanites. They did not finish the job.
This woman had no heritage of God’s words or blessings to encourage her. She was someone who was not even supposed to be alive. This Syrophenician woman had six general qualities in her that that Jesus remarked as great faith. Her repentance was properly directed.
She had come to the right person
She had a right heart attitude,
She was reverent
She was persistent
She was humble
In essence The Lord Jesus looks for these qualities in us when we are seeking from him.
This ladies level of faith, persistence, and determination was such that Jesus, called her “Of Great Faith” because of her origins. Jesus said, “Woman great, is thy faith and be it unto you.”
Her Daughter was made whole from that very hour.
By the time she returned home her daughter was whole.
We know from reading both of these accounts that she came to Jesus at least three times.
Consider her situation and how Jesus dealt with her.
This woman was tested and tried regarding her desire.
The trying and testing of her heart was very much on the same level of when the Lord tested Abraham or When Jacob wrestled with the Angel.
This was an excruciating time for this woman, because of what she desired from Jesus for her daughter.
The first time that she came to Jesus she asked for deliverance.
Jesus response was to ignore her completely.
She had asked for something that was not her right to possess. She asked for an inheritance that truly belongs to God’s children.
The second time we see by her actions that she came and worshipped Jesus. One translation states “She knelt down before Him. It showed an act of Humility.
Her simple response was “Lord help me” the cry of her heart.
This woman knew that her daughter had a demon and she humbled herself further.
Jesus finally answered her, with a comment of what was commonly said between the Jews and the Gentiles. Gentiles were considered dogs.
The third time she came before Him she humbled herself again, This time she showed evidence of more faith.
When Jesus reproached her, she came back with a reason and in complete humility.
She replies to him in
Matthew 15:27
27And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
“Truth Lord, Yes, I am unworthy, I am just a dog, I know that I am a Gentile coming to a Jew for help.
When she approached him she said, “Lord I just want a crumb. I want a piece of it. I do not ask for everything you can do for me, I just want deliverance for my daughter.
Her response was even more remarkable in light of Jesus’ words. It was like another slap in the face after she humbled herself down on her hands and knees and begged.
She looked at Jesus through the eyes of love, Her love for her daughter along with the desire to set her free, inspired her to continue asking for Jesus deliverance.
This Woman worshipped Jesus, even after he treated her the way that he did.
Jesus had tested and tried her faith, for the deliverance she requested required more faith than any other issue.
This Woman demonstrated a right heart attitude, and the result was she received the attention of the Lord.
How much more does God hear the prayers of his children who cry out to Him with this sort of prayer?
Lord this is my daughter.
Have compassion
I know you can do it.
This womans faith did not waver over Gods ability or Power to deliver her daughter.
We see the heart of God drawn toward the tender mercy of a mother. Because she came seeking for her child, it demonstrated a part of her heart that caught the Lord Jesus’ attention.
Seeking Deliverance and Healing from God should be approached by faith.
Sometimes we lose sight of God because we do not trust him, nor do we put faith in Him. There is an element of faith that is required in deliverance.
Perseverance and Faith are the components that must line up to receive your Deliverance and Healing from God.
Demons are going to try and confuse your thinking so that you will not proceed with your deliverance and healing prayer.
The Demons will tell you prayed and nothing has happened as they try to re-inflict you with pain and misery.
The Demons will tell you that God has ignored or abandoned you.
The Demons will tell you that, maybe you don’t have demons at all.
But Brothers and Sister, When God has called those demons to judgment operating within you,
God will allow circumstances to become so uncomfortable
That they become intolerable. You will find yourself becoming sick and tired of being sick and tired.
The Devil and Demons have deceived people from pursuing deliverance and healing as their daily bread
The Bible says in
Matthew 6:9
Give us this day our daily bread, In the New Testament bread also symbolizes Jesus Christ himself, His Body and His Kingdom. It is interesting that the Lord Jesus used bread to describe Deliverance to the Syrophenician Woman and as his Body and Kingdom to his disciples at the last supper.
Your Deliverance and Healing are part of your Salvation and your inheritance and should be a function in the Church.
Jesus said, Deliverance belongs to the Children of God.
God wants us to have this bread.
God wants us to be delivered more than we do.
God wants us delivered, healed, cleansed and blessed. The Deliverance aspect of Integrated Healing Prayer Ministry,
The Ministry where the integration of Exorcism, Deliverance, Healing and Inner-healing operate to bring healing to the Spirit, Soul and Body.
Jesus came to this world not only to save us from hell and death, but also to rescue us from evil on this earth.
Galatians 1:4
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:
Deliverance is the Will of God for today – " deliverance from this present evil world".
The word deliver, according to
Merriam-Webster, means to set free. The word rescue is a synonym, and it means "to free from confinement, danger, or evil". Thus, the word deliverance, as used in Christian ministry, is the act of setting someone free from something or someone or some being that is causing harm, misery, torment, pain and evil.
According to the Lord’s Prayer as found in
Matthew 6:13
And lead us not into temptation, but
Deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, forever. Amen
Jesus came to this world not only to save us from hell and death, but also to rescue us from evil on this earth.
And he (Jesus) was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out the dumb spake, and the people wondered. Luke 11:14
Jesus came to this world not only to save us from hell and death, but also to rescue us from evil on this earth.
(Luke 11:4) And forgive us our sins;
for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us, And lead us not into temptation
But Deliver us from evil.
All throughout the Old Testament historical writings of all the battles that Israel had to fight, the word deliver is used over and over again - either the Lord was delivering Israel from an enemy, or He was delivering an enemy into Israel's hand to slay or overcome it, or He was delivering Israel into the hands of the enemy because of their sin and rebelliousness.
Deliverance is clearly a battle--it is a war against Satan, his demons, evil and his kingdom.
We are the warriors and Jesus is the leader of our army.
Much of the Old Testament is a metaphor for the deliverance process. There are almost 600 references to the word deliver or a derivative of that word in the Bible.
If you don't think the ministry of deliverance is for today, you need to think again in light of the Word of God.
David's Psalms are full of references of deliverance from enemies.
Who is our enemy today?
Satan, Demons, Evil, Unclean Spirits, and Humans doing and yielding to the will of evil.
The Psalms also make many mentions of the Lord delivering our souls. The soul and the body are probably the biggest areas that deliverance ministers work in.
The soul is defined as the heart, the mind, the will, the intellect and the emotions and of course the Body is our physical body with all of it’s needs for deliverance in the form of healing from sickness and disease.
Lets take a look at what The Word of God says.
Genesis 45:7
And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth, and to save your lives by a great deliverance.
This scripture is Joseph talking to his brothers when there was famine in Egypt. In this verse of scripture deliverance is about saving lives yours and mine.
Maybe, prior to today you haven’t recognized your need for deliverance and subsequently you may not have submitted to ministry to obtain it, however, let me share something with you your very life during your time on this earth is in jeopardy.
This is not referring to just the end of your life, but Deliverance affects every facet of your life that is of any importance: your marriage, your children, your prosperity, your money, your health and your walk with God -the list goes on and on.
Men and Women of God,
Deliverance has always taken place in the Church of Jesus, Christ, deliverance has many shapes and forms,
Deliverance can come through reading and meditation on the word of God. John Now you are clean through the word
Deliverance can come through the preached word of God.
Deliverance can come through pastoral counseling
Deliverance can come through fasting
Deliverance can come through prayer
Deliverance can come through the help of another
Deliverance can come through self-deliverance
There is something that is very important that you should understand Submitting to prayers of deliverance,
including the breaking of curses, can make a difference as to how you spend your time on this earth, and perhaps even how much time you have on this earth.
Exodus 18:8-10
And Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done unto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the travail that had come upon them by the way, and how the LORD delivered them.
And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.
And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who hath delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who hath delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
Deliverance is nothing to hide or be ashamed off, we are to tell people of God's great power and His wonderous works. Deliverance from any type of Sin, Oppression, sickness or disease is a miracle and we are to rejoice and bless His name for his goodness and mercy that he has extended toward us.
Samuel 7:3
And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
The Philistines are a metaphor for demons.
Notice that the Lord says that IF we return to Him with all our hearts, forsake our other gods, prepare our hearts and serve the Lord only, and THEN He will deliver us.
Chronicles 12:7
And when the LORD saw that they humbled themselves, the word of the LORD came to Shemaiah, saying, They have humbled themselves; therefore I will not destroy them, but I will grant them some deliverance; and my wrath shall not be poured out upon Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak.
The key word in this scripture is humbled. Deliverance is a humbling experience, and you must be humble in order to receive it. The word humble means "not proud or haughty: not arrogant or assertive; reflecting, expressing, or offered in a spirit of deference or submission". Jesus was humble.
Ezra 9:12-14
Now therefore give not your daughters unto their sons, neither take their daughters unto your sons, nor seek their peace or their wealth for ever: that ye may be strong, and eat the good of the land, and leave it for an inheritance to your children for ever. And after all that is come upon us for our evil deeds, and for our great trespass, seeing that thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us such deliverance as this; Should we again break thy commandments, and join in affinity with the people of these abominations? wouldest not thou be angry with us till thou hadst consumed us, so that there should be no remnant nor escaping?
Ezra warned the children of Israel NOT to fall back into sin again after God delivered them out of captivity when they did not deserve it.
These scriptures warn Christians who have received deliverance not to fall back into sin again.
After Jesus delivered certain people of demons, He occasionally said,
"Go, and sin no more" due to the fact that apparently, the demon entered the person due to his own sin.
Psalm 18 - various verses
I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised:
so shall I be saved from mine enemies. The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid. The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me. In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears. .... He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. (Demons) They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay. He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
The following verses show why the Lord delighted in him, and thus delivered him. The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands hath he recompensed me. For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me. I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity. Therefore hath the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.... He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms. (You see, God teaches us to war against the enemy)... I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I turn again till they were consumed. I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
For thou hast girded me with strength unto the battle: thou hast subdued under me those that rose up against me. Thou hast also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me. They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not. Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets. (Notice in these previous scriptures that we are to pursue our enemy and utterly destroy them - that is what we do in the deliverance ministry.)... He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.
Therefore will I give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto thy name.
Great deliverance giveth he to his king (we are now kings and priests in Jesus - Rev. 1:6); and sheweth mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.
Psalm 69:14
Deliver me out of the mire, and let me not sink: let me be delivered from them that hate me, and out of the deep waters.
You need deliverance!
Psalm 91
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night (aliens, incubus, succubus, nightmares, etc.); nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways (we always ask the Lord to send His angels to work for us when we minister). They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
Proverbs 11:9
An hypocrite with his mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
The key word here is knowledge. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 2:11 that we should not be ignorant of Satan's devices. Hosea 4:6 says that God's people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Put all this together and you quickly realize how important knowledge about deliverance is.
Proverbs 28:26
He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool: but whoso walketh wisely, he shall be delivered.
Luke 4:17-19
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
Jesus came "to preach deliverance to the captives", and then He gave US the authority to tread on serpents and scorpions (Luke 10:19), a metaphor for demons.
Put these scriptures together with these scriptures: And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that " deliverance from this present evil world".
Is the Will of God!
Jesus came to deliver us from evil today,
not when we die.
The Great Commission
Matthew 28:19-20 "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and lo, I am with you always even unto the end of the world."
"Jesus"
Mark 16: 15-20
"Go ye, into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.
"Jesus"
So then, after the Lord had spoken unto them, He was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God. And they went forth, and preached everywhere,
The Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen
Deliverance
Is the Will of God!
Jesus came to deliver us from evil today,
not when we die.
house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. (Matthew 7:26-28)
In other words, if you know Jesus' will-in this case, to preach, receive and minister deliverance-and do not do His will, you will be likened to a foolish person, and great will be your fall.
Think about this.
Galatians 1:4
Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our
Father:
