Faith Letter

Faith is Not Enough pt.3”

Greetings Kingdom Citizens,
Grace be to you and peace be multiplied to you through the knowledge of God and Jesus Christ the
Anointed One:-)

We have been looking into the topic "Faith Add-Ons." Faith Add-Ons come from 2 Peter 1:5
& 6 where Peter says to give all diligence to add to our faith
seven things. This month we are looking at godliness
and how this applies to us in our walk of faith.

You know, we often hear messages preached about the woman with the issue of blood, and about Jairus
who had a daughter at the point of death. Let us look and see how the
crowd came to throng Jesus before the woman with the issue of blood
came on the scene. What you are about to witness is godliness. Jesus
had just returned from being on a ship where a storm came down on
them and threw their boat to and fro causing it to fill with water.
Jesus was asleep when this happened and was awakened by the panic &
fear of his crew asking Him to do something. So Jesus got up and
rebuked the wind and the rain and then got on his disciples because
they did not exhibit faith where this storm was concerned. They had
been given orders to “go to the other side.” The Word was given
and faith was not mixed in with the Word they heard. They needed to
add godliness to their faith this time. They needed to have a
revelation of WHO it was that told them to go. How do I know that?
They said after Jesus rebuked them for showing no faith, “What
manner of man is this?”

If we are not careful we too can fall into the same example of unbelief. We must know WHOSE Word we
are following when we decide to upgrade to believer status. The enemy
will tempt us to see if we know WHO we are and WHOSE Word we are
standing on. They said “even the wind and the raging water obeys
Him!” Jesus expected them to do the same. He REALLY did. What must
Jesus expect of us when we have the Kingdom of God in us.

Now Jesus comes off the ship onto dry land and then here comes a demon possessed naked man from
Gadarenes. This guy had been demon possessed for a long time and was
so strong that he broke the chains off that had been keeping him at
bay. The guy fell down at Jesus feet and begged Jesus not to cast
them (the demons) into the abyss. Even the devil knew WHO Jesus was.
They knew the authority He had. Why don't we? Jesus has told us to
cast out devils and not coddle them to be politically correct. The
demons asked if they could PLEASE be thrown into the swine and Jesus
said alright GO! When the people saw their pigs just up and run into
the lake right after Jesus said that they were afraid and ran to tell
the township what had just taken place.

The formally demon-possessed guy was made free from the Words of the Master and was clothed and in His
right mind by the time the township came to see what had happened.
They came to get Jesus out of town because of the authority He
possessed. They had no clue what He would do next. This is the way
the church of the blessing should be. The world should be afraid of
us because of the authority we possess. They should cringe at what we
might do next. As of now they deem us powerless. They see us as
grasshoppers carrying a bunch of grapes on our backs. They see us as
confused at best because we don't seem to agree with our own selves.

Jesus left that town but before He left, the man who had all those demons cast out of him begged
Jesus to allow him to go with him to His next crusade. Jesus told him
no but He also gave him an assignment which was to go and tell the
same people who where afraid of Him of what great things God had done
for and to him.

I have a question for you all. How long would it take for you tell all the great things God has done
for you? Are you still trying to follow Jesus instead of doing your
assignment? How many schools of ministry did this man need before he
was qualified to preach? How many submission to authority lessons did
he need to hear before he started his ministry? How many degrees did
he need before anyone would even listen to this man? How many
pastoral coverings did he have? How many faith seminars did he go to?
What are you waiting for? How many of you are waiting for a pastor to
send you forth? It is just as important to leave as it is to enter
your assignment, and you can not enter until you leave.

This man simply went and did as he was told and guess what? Jesus told him to go and tell what
great things GOD did for him, and he went out and told what great
things JESUS did for him. Now lets go to see where the crowd came
from that was thronging Him when the woman with the issue of blood
touched the hem of His garment. In Luke chapter 8 and starting at
verse 39 we will see...

"Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went
his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things
Jesus had done unto him. And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was
returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting
for him. And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a
ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus’ feet, and
besought him that he would come into his house: For he had one only
daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as
he went the people thronged him.
" Luke 8:30-42

You see, the godliness Jesus showed in rebuking the storm and the godliness He showed by casting
out the demons brought about the ministry of a man who told all the
great things which were done. Therefore, all of the people who had
previously been so afraid of Jesus were so glad for Him to return.
These acts of godliness ultimately led to Jairus's daughter
being raised from the dead and the woman with the issue of blood for
all those years was completely healed! Now isn't that
something! How fickle! The same man that the people were
chasing out of town due to their unmerited fear is the same man they
could not wait to return into their midst. Amazing!
Fickle Christians or Firm Believers....which one are you?

What will your ministry do for others who hear of this same Jesus and His blessing he has so freely
given you? Who knows what miracles will come about when the people
hear of your healing, your deliverance, your wealth restored, your
children returning to you free from drugs. The response should be as
these who first feared the Master's authority but then realized that
Jesus who did something for one had come in peace and had come to
bless them too. They wanted Jesus to do the same for them. Your act
of godliness to your faith will cause others to see that God is with
you and they will want God to be with them as well. Faith is not
enough. We must allow the Spirit of the Lord to show us how to add
godliness to our faith and be the kingdom citizens we have been
created to be.

I trust that this word of Faith message has blessed you deeply and like all good things please pass
it on to someone you know can benefit from these kingdom principals.
May the Lord fulfill all the goodness of His good pleasure through
you as He works in you that which is well pleasing in His sight.
