Hopefully, this communication reaches you in a good place and ready to kick the door 'in' on 2010. There were some challenges along the way in 2009 but just like from the beginning of my experience and walk with the Lord Jesus, I've found Him to be faithful. And, I haven't had to face anything alone. And, I've been delivered from all of my troubles. All of them! I must admit though, the pressures that did arise along the way reinforced what I already knew. I can't make it without Him. The Lord said this, and, I've found this to be true for me. I can't do anything without Him. And, now. I don't even want to attempt to do anything without Him. I learned this over time though. Being tried. Falling down. Sinning. Then, repenting of a sin. Getting up, and, moving along. And, my 'glue' to the Father's Throne is heartfelt prayer (that I can't live without), coupled with what is said in the Word of God so I can stand on a rock!

Now, at this point, I can vouch for why King David was so loved by the Lord and had this said of him, Acts 13:22 "After removing Saul, He made David their king. He testified concerning him: 'I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart; he will do everything I want him to do.'
'The Lord said that David will do everything I want him to do'. For those that don't read the Bible enough (smile), David got into some hot water with the Lord about a whole host of things which I won't get into here, but the Lord stood by this word concerning David. Why is that? It's because David communicated Truth of himself to the Lord from his heart-of-heart (secret place/holy place with GOD). David said, Psalm 51:6 "Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom."

So, this is what I'm saying I've learned and maintained for some years now. My communication with the Lord starts with me on my Face before Him. And, no matter what state I'm in, Or, what others think my state is, I praise Him and I tell the Truth to him from my heart. And, when sin is involved the instruction to restoration is here brethren, I John 1: 8-10, " 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make Him out to be a liar and His word has no place in our lives."

So, there it is! If we don't tell the truth to Him (who can see our heart), then, His Word has no place in us. So, no matter what David did and how it happened, the fact that His relationship with the Lord was based on telling the truth to His God. Being forgiven and all of that doesn't mean that David wasn't dealt with as a Father WILL deal with a son He loves. I don't have murder on my resume (like David), but, sin is sin. And, if un-confessed to the Lord (in truth) there's no righteous 'access granted' to the Lord Jesus' 'blood'. So, let us go about this year being straight with our Lord. He's going to deliver everyone of us from our sins. And, it will be by grace that we are saved lest any one of us should start boasting.

So, as the year starts. I want to say thank you for being here on this platform. We are about to be moved further out into the open this year with our entertainment visions. In your own activities, the Lord is going bring you further out into the open, too, to bear witness to the Truth - that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. This is not a popular thing to be saying in public. You know this! The world still hates Jesus Christ! So, don't get this whole thing 'twisted'. Being a 'coward' in the Lord's eyes can get you cut-off from Him forever. Haven't you ever read this from the Lord Jesus' own mouth, Revelation 21: 7-9 "7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son. 8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

So, as you can see, these are serious Words. They carry WEIGHT! So, I implore you to study the Word of God this year. If you don't know or understand the 'full counsel of God' as revealed in the Scriptures - YOU ARE VULNERABLE! For what it's worth, a daily Word is feeding into TheJudahSet.com for you to access anytime around the clock. A 'line upon line' study of God's word happens daily on theMAINSET page. Just go to the center column near the bottom of the page. As a matter of fact, the current Study is on the Book of Daniel. This dude was also loved by our Lord. He wrote some things thousands of years ago that are taking place right now in this timeframe. All dealing with the end times and the establishment of the Kingdom of God. It's sad to say, that many don't think it matters to study the word and know the Truth. But, it's the Word that's saving us. The Lord said through Hosea, Hosea 4:6 "my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. "Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children."

So, again, this is no joke. And, our God is not playing. With all of the grace that we're experiencing at the moment, make no mistake that He could easily cut someone off for taking this whole thing lightly. The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit have gone to lengths that we don't fully comprehend so we have to be about business and do what we can. He will provide His power to take you forward. I can vouch for this. Personally! A lot of Christians get into trouble spiritually because they don't know enough of the Word to fight this war to win. Your enemy - the Devil, is a liar, a murderer, a thief and a great deceiver. You're no match for him without the WORD OF GOD!. This is where the enemy is doing serious damage in Christian lives right now. Deceiving them about the WORD OF GOD. The same strategy he got Eve with.

To end this section of the blog I encourage you with Words from the Holy Spirit when He used Paul to say to Timothy, 2 Timothy 2:15 "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.'

If you can't rightly divide Word of Truth and have a conversation with someone and learn how to be sharpening 'iron upon iron', you may be in trouble. And, you're not alone. This is where a lot of brethren are right now. Remember, the Word of God saves us!

2. Our Plans

Many have been asking when the Set is going to have more parties and expand into other markets and so on. Well, the Lord is guiding this ship and we're about to unveil something that will be the biggest project I've ever been associated with. Life changing to be totally honest. All of our current projects are on 'stand-by' as I finalize a deal that will culminate in the roll-out of Dallas' first world-class music, food, fashion and arts festival, I call Uptown Jazz Dallas Festival International. This International Festival will be augmented by another social network I'm launching called UptownJazzDallas.com (modeled after TheJudahSet.com). And, will be supported by a promotional arm I created called Jazz Up Festivals & Special Events.

I can't wait to tell you about all of this. But, you already know more than anyone else because I share this with the beloved of the Lord. I do this so you'll hopefully pray for me from time to time. I need it because the Devil doesn't want me to come up because many will be in tow via this blessing. MANY! So, though I suffer attacks, I wear the 'armor of God', and I know how to wield the 'sword of the Spirit'. You better learn how to do this yourself. And, if you need help with that, ask. There are warriors on the Set! Men and women warriors. There's no excuse left.

I expect to be making a formal Press Release to the DFW Metroplex in a few short weeks. You'll be one of the first to know. Of course :).
