Someone asked me ~ What does it mean to have friends? I see you have many friends....

I suppose I have many friends because I take the time to show myself friendly amongst my peers in Christ Jesus demonstrating wisdom as spoken in the Word of God. Proverbs 18:24 (KJV) ~ A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly. I believe with friendship comes responsibility.

It takes a great deal of time to build a solid true bond of friendship ~ I walk knowing that the enemy can use the weakness of people to purport (pose as a friend) but cause painful circumstances that would try my faith ~ allowing me the opportunity obey God's command in scripture which states I am to love my brothers & sisters.
1 John 4:20 Those who say, “I love God,” and hate their brothers or sisters, are liars; for
those who do not love a brother or sister whom they have seen, cannot love
God whom they have not seen
Leviticus 19:18
You shall love your neighbour as yourself
Matthew 5:44
But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you
John 13:34
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have
loved you, you also should love one another.
John 13:35
By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for
one another.’
John 15:13
No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends
John 15:17
I am giving you these commands so that you may love one another

I practice the power of love in spite of it being returned to me in good faith.

JESUS IS MY BEST FRIEND ~ I can run into the arms of my loving Saviour JESUS anytime ~ I trust THE ONLY ONE WHO STICKS CLOSER THAN A BROTHER ~ who will never forsake me or intend harm upon my life in any way.

FRIENDSHIP is a great foundation from which we can thrive (grow & develop in harmony as believers) in showing God's Perfect Love one to one another. Relating to one another can build faith, character, strength, and conviction. These are my personal goals when I befriend or e-friend someone. If the relationship shows ill-gain, or wrong intent ~ I make the decision to end the relationship and pray fervently for that person ~asking God to help them in their walk to know Him more intimately by His Spirit. They also have the Word of God to obey and are expected to show themselves friendly towards others as God has commanded them.

I realize there are many levels of friendships and I have gained these various levels reaching out to many as they have endeavored to reach out to me with friendly love & openly sharing their devotion to God and the many testimonies of His faithfulness. I thank my God daily for the wonderful new divine connections that He has given me ~ they nurture and build me up as a believer! I glorify the Lord who is strong and mighty and knows how to direct people with loving hearts to band together. My newfound friendships (fellowships) with my peers in Christ Jesus has no doubt gained me a rewarding faith walk along my destiny with others that bear the marks of Christ Jesus and His Heart for the welfare and order of His great Kingdom.

I am blessed to have connected with more than 7,000 people since my emergence on the net 6 months ago. I am cautious as I am celebrating the "new thing" that God is proposing for my life. I welcome His work and His beloved people who I learn so much from and have so much love to give when I fellowship with them ~ we are His people of hope, faith, triumph & God's love. I sincerely AGAPE love and pray daily for all of my friends!

May our friendship prove to bring God great joy and delight as we walk in unity together in the faith of our Lord Jesus and taking total dominion and reigning as kings as we are called to do ~ as one body having the same mind and the same heart ~ doing the will of our Father. My Friends ~ I boldly love you to the shame and considerable discomfort of all the enemies of God's Mighty undefeated kingdom!

Vanessa
