Getting our kids ready for the world

This Sunday, my son will be graduating from high school. This is an accomplishment I don't take lightly. I'm proud of him for over coming so many obstacles that stood in his way. In this season of his life I ask myself, is he prepared to be in the world without me hovering over him? Is he prepared for the world of politics, sex, relationships, finances, or the corporate world? Did I do all I could with the wisdom God gave me to teach him in the way he should go? Or did I shelter him to the point where he will be shellshocked when he becomes exposed to the world?
Today on DSRadio, we will ask the question, "are we as Christian parents preparing our kids for warfare or are we sheltering them?"
