Good God Sunday Morning - Part II "A Proper Courtship"

May 29, 2001

On February 20, 2011 Anointed Works SD published Good God Sunday Morning “Jesus’ Parables- Softening the Soil for the Seed of Understanding “ . With that posting was a communiqué of the upcoming message:

“The Wedding Party”
Spiritual Dream – Spiritual Wedding
And I saw a bride and her wedding party all dressed in priestly robes and gown they effervescent white gleaming of silver and gold. And in the tabernacle a peaceful hush held the air in captivity sanctioned by the frankincense...

This message was never published; I now share the reason for the tardiness, in which I did communicate to a few of my spiritual confidants: As I prayed and listened to the Holy Spirit; As I studied and researched the Holy Scriptures for understanding. The Holy Spirit brought forth this question:
How can there be a wedding party when there is not a proper courtship?
Firstly the subject matter in this instance “wedding party” has a double meaning , not only does it describe a gala function of celebration after a marriage ceremony ,but is also the title given to a selected group of people who have been active participants in a wedding ceremony or holy matrimony .

As months passed, I prayed, I learned, I studied, I waited and I received.

Intercession – Self Sacrifice / Selfless Offering - May 2011
As we prayed for our sister in the spirit and asked God to bless her, the revelation of “proper courtship” became clear. I saw that though we were tired, weary and in dire need of a blessing ourselves we had come together in love because of the love, to lift our sister up in prayer. We were willing to sacrifice our needs to request on behalf of our sisters and brothers. One sister we prayed for had been injured, as we prayed for her battered and bruised body we lifted our arms in proxy.

Vision: The Drawing of Empowered Love
I saw my sister, the Apostle and Intercessor, place the top of her shoulder under our bruised sister’s arm, to raise her injured left arm to receive the anointing, a blessing from the Father; while I stood on the other side of our injured sister and placed my head, the crown of my head, to lift her injured right arm to receive the anointing of the Father. And then I saw we were surrounded by our brothers and sisters, as far as the eye could see, in self –sacrifice of love, because of love for the Father, because of the love for the Kingdom of God and for our brothers and sisters, they were laying down their requests in living sacrifice. Saying “ O’ Father though my needs are many and my arms are tired, I ask you to give ‘this day’ my allotted favor for this day to my brother, give mercy to us this day and give us the grace to bear it.” It was a beautiful sight … Our brethren crying out in prayer requesting and decreeing for others; their bodies , their arms being flesh were weighed with weariness but their spirits strengthen with godly love, were using the crowns of their heads to the soles of their feet to lift up their travailing brethren’s arms to receive . *

I have come the understanding that the question “How can there be a wedding party when there is not a proper courtship” is synonymous with Exodus 17:11-13

Exodus 17:11-13
Listen to this passage

11And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
12But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
13And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things.
(1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
