Good God Sunday Morning …The Delivery and Deliverance of Spiritual Afterbirth

September 12, 2010

A parallel observation of the physical and spiritual similarities of “the labor” we must endure in the sacrosanct delivery of childbirth part one; and part two, “The delivery of afterbirth”*.

For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man..... In the Lord, however, woman is not independent of man, nor is man independent of woman. For as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God. 1 Corinthians 11:8-9, 11-12

The Delivery and Deliverance of Afterbirth

Metaphorical meanings

The term birth is used metaphorically to refer to a beginning, especially of a natural phenomenon, one that is impressive in its scope or complexity, or one that is viewed favorably.

Understanding the Correlation of Physical Afterbirth and Spiritual Afterbirth

Afterbirth is the birth of the placenta following the birth of the infant.

Placenta is the organ in most mammals, formed in her lining of the uterus by the union of the uterine mucous membrane with the membranes of the fetus, which provides for the nourishment of the fetus and the elimination of its waste products.

The word "afterbirth" entered the English language in the 16th century. The word rarely is mentioned in ancient text. The word "afterbirth" derives from the Hebrew and Aramaic words silja and siljta which consequently arrived to the Greek word chorion.

How does the physical – medical terminology and explanation of afterbirth correlate with spiritual after-birth and how does it relate to our gifts, ministries and selves?

Correlation -Revelation- Activation-Manifestation

First and most important we must understand that the afterbirth is the only disposable organ of the human body. Afterbirth is the combination of the placenta and the fetal membranes that are normally expelled from the uterus after the birth of the baby; accordingly, the word “afterbirth." The placenta is the organ that joins the mother and fetus (unborn offspring) and permits the provision of oxygen and nutrients to the fetus and the release of carbon dioxide and waste products from the fetus to the mother fetal membranes consist of the chorion -the outer membrane and the amnion- the inner membrane which envelop the embryo and contain the amniotic fluid. The placenta also serves as a cloak, a shield which protects the placenta and fetus inside the mother to evade from attack by the mother’s immune system. The functionality of physical afterbirth is akin to spiritual afterbirth. As sons and daughters of God our cautionary heed to the operations of spiritual afterbirth must apply to a greater extent (Roman 8:14) we are governed by Spirit. And Ephesians 6:12 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]”. We must constantly strive in the spirit because we are human beings who have been impregnated with a supernatural seed from the Holy Spirit and subjected to adverse attacks to abort, deform or destroy the embryo. Just as the physical afterbirth serves as a cloak, a shield so does the spiritual afterbirth. It was created to protect and guard; to nourish and grow our spiritual development; to ensure a successful delivery of a thriving ministry and gift; let us remember our “baby/ministry” is God-given so it is anointed with God’s holiness. So one might infer that spiritual afterbirth acts as a buffer repelling anything Not of God ;or it acts also as a sponge absorbing whatever we have taken within our mind (thoughts, memories); our heart (emotions, feelings) . It guards against the baby / ministry / gift from toxins, viruses, infections attached to knowing or unknowingly sins, commissioned or UN commissioned sins and generational curses and all of its symptoms and characteristics and their effects. When we unintentionally have residue of spiritual afterbirth within us, these leftover traits of past sins and/or trespasses that have been committed against us, we exhibit symptoms that are contagious to everything and everyone attached to us. Risks of retained placenta include hemorrhage and infection which if not medically/spiritually attended causes permanent damage to the reproductive system, the body as a whole and ultimately death to the mother and the infant. In premise the parallel deliverance of the physical and spiritual afterbirth have a comprehensive association that extends even to the midwife. After the delivery of a physical after-birth it is examined by the midwife so that it can be accessed if there is anything (such as chemicals, alcohol, DNA traits of abnormalities) within the placenta that will cause the risk of life and health to the baby. In the deliverance of spiritual afterbirth the God-assigned midwife examines to see if there is spiritual DNA traits of abnormalities in it also; Or residue of afterbirth left in the wound which causes permanent damage to the reproductive system, life and health to the body as a whole (other ministries-church) and ultimately death to the mother and the mother’s gift and /or ministry. Therefore if this progression is not in holy order we give birth out of “Wounded Wombs”. This is the reason why it so vital that we live according to the unadulterated Word of God… pure, untainted and complete and in order. Scripture reads 1 Peter 2:5 “you, too, as living stones, are building yourselves up into a spiritual house and a holy priesthood, so that you may offer spiritual sacrifices that are acceptable to God through Jesus, the Messiah.”

Definitions

Unknowing- not knowing that someone has tricked you. Not knowing what kind of situation you are involved in, for example because someone has tricked or cheated you. Synonyms -unwitting, naive, ignorant, unaware

Residue -something that remains after a process involving the removal of part of the original has “NOT” been completed.

Residue of generational curses - the remainder of a deceased person's estate after debts have been paid and bequests distributed. Synonyms-remains, remainder/resentment, reminder/memories, dregs/offense, scum/ revenge and excess/retaliation

Proverbs 25:28
He who has no rule over his own spirit is like a broken down city without a wall.

Viruses /Sin Symptoms/ /Characteristics Effects

Flu__ low-grade fever, coughing, runny nose ____aching bones, high grade fever, vomiting, severe illness sometimes causing death

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Abused Victims__low self -esteem, insecure, anger, resentment__ under-achiever/over-achiever,

promiscuous or unable to trust and love, alcoholism, drugs, suicide

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jezebel Spirit __ control issues, jealousy, envy, lust, competition___ mimicking, manipulation, distrust, discord, chaos, breakdown of unity, stumped growth sometimes causing death of ministry.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What I found as reverent and extremely beneficial to this study and to “me” is the holy and wholly purging of residue, unknowing sins; and the residue accumulated from generational curses. To guarantee our ministries are free from the effects and symptoms of contamination and corruption we must purge ourselves by repentance and staying aligned with the Word of God. When we rid ourselves of the most powerful of sins “pride” we then ask the Holy Spirit to rid our spirits of any residue that might pollute our purpose; “to minister the gospel to the world that all men might be saved”. The biggest sin of all, and the root of all other sin, is the pride or selfishness that allows us to assess ourselves as more worthy than others. If we judge someone else to be not worthy, how do you suppose that God will look at us?

Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load. Galatians 6:4

When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom. Proverbs 11:2

In conclusion The Father has said “If you will do these things acceptable to me then you may enter into the holiness of “My Womb”.

Mark 1:40-45
Now a leper came to Him, imploring Him, kneeling down to Him and saying to Him, "If You are willing, You can make me clean." Then Jesus, moved with compassion, stretched out His hand and touched him, and said to him, "I am willing; be cleansed." As soon as He had spoken, immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed. And He strictly warned him and sent him away at once, and said to him, "See that you say nothing to anyone; but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing those things which Moses commanded, as a testimony to them." However, he went out and began to proclaim it freely, and to spread the matter, so that Jesus could no longer openly enter the city, but was outside in deserted places; and they came to Him from every direction.

Giving Glory to God for He is worthy of all the Praise. I thank Him for the leaders and fellow –workers who gave seeds and waters to cultivate this God-given revelation. Amen

The Word in me is the “Bara” in me and the “Bara” in me is the God in me “- Amen
