Did you know that you are graced for Kingdom purpose? Throughout the Bible, “grace” is mentioned 159 times in the King James Version. There are times when grace is God’s favor, as when “Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord” (Genesis 6:8). Still, at other times grace is mentioned as acceptance. Please understand that acceptance as a type of grace is mentioned in Genesis 33:8 when Jacob returned to be reconciled with his brother, Esau, whom he tricked out of the birthright. So, to receive acceptance from Esau upon Jacob’s return, Jacob sent valuable gifts of wealthy livestock to his brother explaining that the gifts “are to find grace in the sight of my lord” (Genesis 33:8).
But grace is also when God divinely enables you to do what He has called you to do and to become what He has purposed you to become. That’s right! When God calls you, he gives you the corresponding grace to accomplish it. Notice the below verses:

“For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.” Matthew 25:14-15 (KJV)

When God appoints and ordains you for Kingdom business, just as the above parable mentions, he equips you with the ability to fulfill that appointment. To one of this man’s servants, he gave five talents. To another servant, this man gave only two talents. Still to another servant, the man gave even less. He gave him only one talent. However this man was not discriminatory or unjust. This man gave to each servant “…according to his several ability.” He provided talents to his servants based on the ability or the enabling on their life. He provided opportunity to them proportionately to the degree of grace he had given them.

When God assigns you to a Kingdom task, he provides you with the necessary grace to accomplish it. If you are called to be a husband or a wife, then He has already provided the requisite grace to become a good husband or a wife. If fatherhood or motherhood is your current assignment, then you have been given the corresponding grace to parent your children effectively. If ministry is your lot, then God has graced you to minister, irrespective of the area of ministry to which you are called. To whatever area you are appointed, assigned and called, God has graced you to succeed.

Now, notice this verse:

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness…” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

The Lord revealed to Paul that He had given him them necessary grace to succeed even against Satanic buffeting and warring. Woman of purpose, you too have been SUFFICIENTLY graced by God to succeed in every area of your life. So, in this season, don’t quit your assignment! Don’t abort the divine plan and destiny for your life. If God has called you to it, then He has given you the grace to succeed in it. If your assignment seems too tough for you, it is only because, “The place of your appointment is also the place of your greatest disappointment” (Bishop Dale C. Bronner). So, continue in the grace of God on your life. If you continue with patience, you will arrive at the place called, SUCCESS!

The Lord bless you, people of purpose! Live in the expectancy of God
