IMITATION OF LIFE
Meaning: A copy that is presented during the course of our existence that we give to God.
It is time to know who God is in your life. It is time to build a relationship with Him. God is trying to call us up higher but because we offer up to him an imitation praise, an inmitation worship it is like a strange fragrance in his nostrils. We have somehow gotten off the path and because we will not take the time to repent and seek his face we send up imitations.
We know how to shout because we have either grown up in church or been around a truly saved person and watched. We would go hom and practice for hours in the mirror until we had it just right, came to church and faked the funk. We can preach and know how to stir the crowd by moaning just in the right pitch, we know how to sing the right song to make that tear fall from a person's eyes. Romans 11:29 says, "For the gifts and calling of God are without repentence." We can do all these things but has God destroyed the stronghold in that man or women's life. We have to be completely sold out to God in order for someone to come off the street and be delivered. When a person came to Jesus he ministered to their needs and in that smae instant they were delivered because the need was met.
No one wants to tarry with their brother until they get a breakthrough because it may mean they might surpass you in the spirit, it may mean tat they get in a higher position then you. God is saying, "It is not about you but it is about that person being delivered from the issues or situation in their life." We have become a selfish generation. Issues are anything that will take from the presence of God in your life or anything that hinders the spirit of God or is entrance and/or disturb his order.
We have come in the house of God and we have an ault against our brother, instead of getting it right we shout, we speak in tongues, cry to God but god is saying it is an imitation. We don't feel the conviction of God in our lives because we are out of his will. God is trying to bring his people back to his anointing, to the place of reverence and respect for him. It is time to walk into your season, leaving every weight behind Ecclesiates 3;1 says, "To every thing there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven." It is time to flourishes in God to obtain what he has for you. The devil knows that God is about to pour out on his people and he is doing everyt hing he can to stop the process but God forbid. Matt 16:24 says, "If any man will come after me,let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." Who will follow Jesus, who will deny themselves. Who is ready to stop giving God a counterfeit praise, a counterfeit tongue, a counterfeit shout and give God your all. Know his spirit so you won't be deceived and tricked out of your blessings. Psalms 20:6 says, "Now know I that the Lord saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand."
When will we know that God is that same God that delivered us in the beginning. Some have forgotten his saving strength because we are sitting behind these four walls, we must go outside in the streets to remember where we have come from. You never know what you truly have in you until you are taken out of your comfort zone.
