B-U ENTERTAINMENT, LLC TO HOST D-DAY

Raleigh, NC – November 1, 2010 – B-U Entertainment has join with 12 Christian rap/Holy Hip Hop/Rhythm & Praise recording artists/ministers from across the state of North Carolina; as well as connecting with regional sponsors to bring awareness to the youth and young adult in the RDU and surrounding areas of North Carolina about the dangers that are being faced in everyday life as the future leaders and future business
builders. D-Day will be a full day two-part event consisting of rap-sessions with everyday people who overcame life’s circumstances. There will be activities, food and fun for all. The second half of the event will be the celebration of deliverance in concert form featuring NC’s own B-U of B-U Entertainment, The GateKeeperz of ONQ Gospel, JB Real of Rhema Lyfe Entertainment, C.O.G.(Child of God) of PD Soul, Tay Clemons of Elokim Records, Tawana Ross of Bedrock Gospel, Omega Sparx from the Just His League, Jaroe of Blessed Entertainment, Salvation, Chosen the Worshipper, The Mighty Truce and H.O.O.D..

“This will not be the typical speak out session or unity in the community event. D-Day (which stands for Deliverance Day) is a day for the youth to proclaim freedom from principalities that try to keep them from being focus on God and to bring awareness of activities that are harmful for their soul,” said S. Bernard Mitchell, one half of the group Christian rap group B-U and co-founder/co-owner of B-U Entertainment, LLC. “This vision was given to me by God and this is an order that I must follow through with.
Everyday we have young people who are dying naturally and spiritually and we must do something as a collective. One person cannot do it alone, so if we come together as a united front with God’s purpose being the driving force, the possibilities are endless. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

D-Day is also to end the separation between many of the artists in our genre of music. Unity is a must if we are to show the world that we are about teamwork and true discipleship just as Jesus sent out the 12. Furthermore we are to be better examples
to those who are coming up behind us in doing this genre of music. God hand picked a list of ministers to approach with this vision and I am grateful to say that 97% of them accepted. Now we are moving forward with the vision and looking forward to the many lives that will be changed.”

The concert will be held at Carolina Theatre, downtown Durham NC. The location for early day events will be announced in the near future. Tickets for the concert are on sale now at www.ticketmaster.com & www.thecarolinatheatre.org,
under the event, D-Day. You can also call Carolina Theatre ticket department at (919)560-3030. Group rates are available.
