Devotional: Gen. 13:14a - "The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, Lift up your eyes from where you are and look.." This is the story regarding Abram and Lot parting from one another. God had blessed these two men. The blessing that was on Lot due to his association with his uncle. The Bible that they had so much stuff that the land couldn't hold them! It got so bad, that their herdsmen were arguing with each other about whose herds was to feed where. Abram noticed this and suggested on the parting to keep the peace. Sometimes there are people around us that benefit from the blessing that's on you. You may dwell together now, but eventually you'll have to separate. Alot of times, those are the ones that hinder the vision that God has for you! You may have to part with some people in order to get the revelation of what's ahead of you. When Lot departed, he kept pitching the tent until he ended up at the gates of Sodom! Those are the ones that don't see what you see; they see only what they want.
