The ancient Chinese built the "Great Wall" which stretches for several thousand miles, to ensure their security from foreign invaders. Yet during the first hundred years after the wall was completed, China was successfully invaded three times, not by going over the wall or tearing it down, but by bribing the guards and simply marching through the gates. China spent years building the "Great Wall" but didn't spend enough time building the character of the gatekeepers.

A recent experience and past experiences that I have had made me begin to look around and see that character and Integrity have been thrown out of the window in the world and in the church! We sometimes we are the worst offenders of this.

No wonder sinners can’t come to repentance It’s because they see no difference between the "Church" and the "World" and I’m not speaking about how long your skirt is, or if you wear jewelry or not. I’m speaking about your character and integrity which far out weights that. When these things are intact your dress will line up with your character and integrity. That is another email on another day.

Today I am talking about how you present yourself to others or as they say how you "Represent" Jesus!

Are we afraid to confront this issue?

I’m not! And with God’s help I will.

Lets first start with the definition of Integrity

What is integrity?
1. Adherence to moral and ethical principles; soundness of moral character; honesty. 2. The state of being whole, entire, or undiminished: to preserve the integrity of the empire. 3. A sound, unimpaired, or perfect condition: the integrity of a ship's hull.

Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
Psalm 26:1

Lack of integrity could be some of the following.

Do we tell someone we are going to do something for them and then don’t? If there are not extenuating circumstances we are simply lying to the person when we don’t keep our word.

Lay not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Colossians 3:9

Do we say yes when you really mean no? Or vice versa? Sometimes we do this because we are trying to please or impress the person we are speaking too instead of pleasing God.

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, and neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and your nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation.
James 5:12

Do we use people for our own gain without disregard for the person we are using? We will get brother so & so to come and fix our car. But we never call him any other time to just say hello only when we want something. Or do we call the Pastor to put in a request for him to pray for us and our problems only to get off of the phone and tune into our favorite television show?

For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.James 3:16

These are only a few examples of lack of integrity; the list can go on and on. Are we dealing with our lack of integrity? Or are we sweeping it under the rug hoping that no one will see it?

Let’s stop praying for a husband/wife, house, and car!!!

Please don’t get me wrong the word of God says let your requests be made know unto him.

But if we don’t have Godly integrity we will have a hard time keeping or won’t be able to keep the husband/wife, house and car!

Let us begin to seek the Lord for Godly Integrity.

Let us seek him first!

Let us ask God to create in us a clean heart!

Let us ask God to renew our minds!

Then the change will come!!!

Then we will see sinners come to salvation because they will see a difference!!!!

I encourage you to begin to hold yourself accountable for your actions!

I encourage you to begin to hold your brothers and sisters accountable for their actions!

I encourage you to set standards for yourself!

Now is the time for us and to take our rightful place in this world. That is a place of power, victory and authority so that God may get the glory in our lives and that someone can look at our lives and say. "What must I do to be saved?"

Much love and blessings to all of you!
