Let's Get It Together
Greetings in the Matchless name our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
My name is Dr. L. Donell Sims. I am a young man of God who loves God with all of his heart, body and soul. It is my desire to see the body of Christ become unified with one common denominator, Jesus Christ. It is amazing to me how many Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers we have in this hour, yet the Body of Christ is more divided than ever. We fight more over who is the greatest, and who affirmed who, and I’ve been doing it longer and you’re not the right denomination or from the right organization, your church isn’t big enough and you don’t preach/teach like I do.
Now before you write me off and/or send me some crazy response hear me out. YES, there is a right and a wrong way to do things, I know there is Apostolic Order. I also know there are False Apostles, Prophets, Evangelist, Pastors and Teachers. But there are some legitimate five-fold ministry gifts that may not have had an opportunity to receive apostolic succession or even know anything about it because no one took the time to teach them or even offered it to them.
In my personal meeting and greeting preachers, I see there are a number of people who want to be validated and legitimate, but because of the opposition from those who have the correct knowledge and the outrageous requirements, many have chosen to just do things undercover so to speak.
I know personally in my quest to properly accept and walk in my apostolic office, it has been some crazy and ridiculous things offered, required and told to me. I understand this is a High Holy and Sacred Calling, but there are Organizations that Charge $25,000 to consecrate someone and you have to have at least 5,000 members. Believe it or not some charge more, The vestments are ridiculously priced as well, You can buy a car or pay a church bill for what you pay for this stuff. I understand there are expenses when doing a event like that and bringing in the consecrators and they deserve to be paid, but my God that is robbery!
Being that I am a young man, I have to opportunity to talk with a lot of preachers, both old and young alike, and I have found that the example that being shown to young preachers is, never mind living right Just don’t get caught and money and popularity validates your call. We wonder why so many young preachers go after money and trying to make a name for themselves it’s because that’s what they see and that’s what being imparted into them.
85% to 95% of messages preached now are talking about blessing and how to get stuff and don’t even mention Jesus. Yes I believe God wants us healthy and wealthy, But He wants us Holy and Righteous. So many Preachers care more about a title than what they are actually called to do. If we spent as much time being who God called us to be as we do trying to look like it, we’d be much better off.
For those of you who are currently in Leadership consecrated with apostolic succession and you’re doing well, don’t forget to help someone else. Because it’s those of us whom you help train, equip release and effect that are the true seal of your call, whether it be as an Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor or Teacher.
Starting a organization doesn’t make you a Chief Apostle. To be a Chief Apostle, You have to have other apostles submitted under you. To be a Master Prophet there has to be other prophets properly trained, affirmed and submitted under you and your prophecies have to come to pass. To be an Evangelist you have to win souls, Evangelism extends beyond to pulpit platform. Pastoring is more than just preaching to the same people week after week and kingdom teaching is more than just putting together a lesson.
The Time has Come for us to be who we are suppose to be. Eph 4:11-13 states, 11And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: 13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: So let’s get to it.
I didn’t plan on saying all of this and I hope I didn’t offend anyone. If I did, please take it up with God. I just wanted to extend a offer for fellowship and networking. I love working with and helping the people of God.

I will agree with you ... there are too many divisions in the body of Christ . It amazes me that folks want a title or ministry , but don't want to suffer or wait on God's timing to move . I have been in the ministry for nearly six years , and believe me I have seen some preachers preach nothing but prosperity . What happened to how to disciple others ? Or how to reach out to some young preacher that is struggling in their ministry . In order , for the five-fold to flourish, there got to be a order. I am in ministry to do the will of the Father and when we get it together as the body of Christ and stop trying to make a name for yourself and be a servant first , then God can enlarge your territory. And yes I would like to know what happened to submit to the Man or Woman of God that's covering you . Are you being accountable? Are we walking in integrity ? I ask those questions because, some has forgotten this .Thank you for the blog ... it was definitely food for thought !
